MOTHERS DAY SONG - WORLD WITHOUT YOU

My daughter created four songs for me this week for Mothers Day. The song "What would the world be without you" is my favourite, because I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful caring daughter, who brings a smile to my face every day. She has made me a better, caring person, and I thank her. I think about all the children trapped in state care against their will and the suffering parents/grandparents/siblings. I can look back on my childhood with great happiness, because I had my Mum, Step Dad and family. A child trapped in care cannot! When I think of my poor Nan as a child victim of the state, made to eat and sleep in a shed with her brothers, with no real family to love her, and how she cried for her mother and father, it makes me think of all the poor children trapped in state care, deprived of real love and protection. My job as a Mother is to care about all children, so this is why I am sharing this video. Children need family and we as parents/grandparents need to put all Children 1st! I dedicate this song to all the suffering children and families worldwide. They deserve better! If all the sports supporters put as much energy into caring about all children, we would have a better world!

MOTHERS DAY SONG - WHAT WOULD THE WORLD BE WITHOUT YOU
(IT WOULD BE SAD)

MOTHERS DAY SONG (IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT THE PRESENTS)

It's not all about the chocolate and presents, it is about knowing how lucky we are to have each other!
I tell my daughter every Mothers Day, that I do not need a present, because I have her! She is the best gift I have ever had. For her to write me four songs for Mothers Day is really kind of her. And it is so lovely to feel appreciated and know that she loves me because I try very hard to put her first! Money pays the bills, but I would rather spend time with her than be in a high paid job with flash holidays. She wants Mummy at home and that is her human right. Our Country needs to help mothers earn from home!

SONG - MOTHER DON'T CRY (FOR MY MUM)

I wrote this song for my Mother, and Melody recorded it for me. Mum called me up crying! What a tough life she has had. Thank goodness we have my Step Father, who has been a complete Angel. I had an amazing childhood, because I never suffered from bullying in state school. And I had lots of family and friends. I feel so lucky that I take after my Nan as she was one tough cookie. A real hero! She stayed strong for her family. Sadly some people don't have that strength and need help, which sadly is nowhere to seen in the UK. This Country is not child and family friendly, and it needs to change!

MELODY HAD HER OWN RADIO SHOW

Melody, my daughter, had her own radio show. Sadly the radio host was not child and family friendly, so we quit. Seriously who tells a little girl to lock her mother up in a cupboard so she cannot speak on radio. When all I was doing was helping her out with the silent breaks. Teaching children to be disrespectful is how we end up with bullies! To top it, he put the live show on his You Tube account and said horrible things about us because I wanted her Radio Show on her blog (Child/Family Friendly.) His radio show was around stuff that was not suitable for children, and was a total bully! But it is a learning curve and we never give up!

MELODY'S HANDMADE MUPPET - SLEEPY

We adore making things together. Melody has over five years of wonderful art and craft videos. As well as singing story books and some songs. I am really lucky to have her. And can't imagine why some parents need a break from  their child. Childhood flies by so quickly you need to hold on to every memory you can.

SO - WHAT DOES FAMILY MEAN TO YOU?

Every child deserves a family that cares about them and puts them first. They also should have a voice. It is their life, so let them speak! Children in care should do a Mind Map about family and school in front of the public, away from bullying Social Services.

THIS IS MY NAN'S TRUE STORY AS A CHILD VICTIM IN STATE CARE
I feel really lucky to have had the childhood I did, and to have a wonderful daughter!

THANKS TO MY NAN, MUM, DAD AND FAMILY I HAVE WONDERFUL CHILDHOOD MEMORIES ALL KEPT ON CINE FILM!

And I have a wonderful daughter that makes me giggle!
