My Melody has a fan! She created the above drawing based on Melody's original family portrait of us. I love the way she wrote ... FAMILY MATTERS, it most certainly does!
I have taken her details out for security reasons, so will leave it up to her Mum to share the post.
Melody and I were over the moon when we saw the positive and uplifting post. We, love, love, love the drawing. And wish this up and coming artist the best of luck.
AND I JUST LOVE MY DAUGHTER, MELODY'S, DRAWING OF US AS A FAMILY. WHAT A FANTASTIC, AND VERY SPECIAL BIRTHDAY GIFT IT WAS!
Melody asked me, "MUM, WHY IS IT THAT GIRLS THAT SHOW PICTURES OF THEMSELVES, POOCHING THEIR LIPS AND LOOKING OLDER THAN THEY ARE, GET LOTS OF FOLLOWERS AND LIKES? YET I GET HARDLY ANY LIKES AND FOLLOWERS, WHEN I AM DOING SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE AND CREATIVE!"
What a great question. Perhaps someone has the answer to this?
All I can say is, keep drawing Melody. I am really proud that you are using your brain, and promoting something you are good at! Keep going!
And we are so proud to have the support of our wonderful Councillor Kevin Griffiths:
