Addicted to my Google blog - I just love writing and creating videos and pictures

I have to admit I have a serious addiction to my Google Blog. I feel the need to go on it every day and write something, problem is there is not enough time in the day to do everything so the washing up has to go on hold. I used to be so tidy but the house now reflects my life "just one big mess!" When I search for my work I find it usually at the top of Google so it inspires me to write and create more. It does not matter if no one is listening or looking I find it all so therapeutic and it takes me away from the hum drum troubled world I live in. It is not fame I am looking for, but instead the lifestyle and living I feel I am entitled to give my child and that is what keeps me going.

Addicted to Google like a bee to honey!
If I did not have all these problems thrown my way my blog would all be about art, crafts, music and fairies. I wonder if some readers have experienced my nightmare and still keep battling on in the hope for a brighter future?

My little girl was watching I Carly this morning, which is a children's programme. And the storyline was about Spencer (big brother) who wants to be an artist. A great artist had seen his work and told him it was rubbish, which made him give up on his dream. Thankfully there is a happy ending and that is that the great artist admits he is jealous of his work and that is why he said it was rubbish so Spencer continues with his art.

So for all you budding artists and writers out there. Don't listen to nasty people, follow your dreams keep doing what you love doing. If it makes you happy that is the most important thing. I have had so many people put me down and make me feel worthless, but I refuse to let them win. My little girl is not going to have a loser as a Mother she needs to know that there is hope and that if she tries really hard she can achieve just about anything and so can you! And yesterday she showed me even though she hates reading she can write really well. Her Tree poem is brilliant!

My friend said to me "Sharon you are like a tree full of lots of different ideas that just keep branching out, I never know what you will come up with  next! And neither do I! I just flutter from one idea like a butterfly does to a flower. And on this note I will leave you with my Original Butterfly Lullaby video from my Butterfly Lullaby book launch. Remember I made nearly all the costumes from scratch, the photographs in the background were created by me and the song was co written by me with my partner. Borders sold 27 of my books in one month. The only things that stop me are bullies and bad luck. But I will never give up and I want you to keep dreaming too:

Hates to read but loves to draw - what should I do?

My child just hates reading, and I mean hates with a big capital 'H.' Give her a pen and paper and she will draw and draw for hours. Try to get her to read a book and the interest quickly disappears. She will guess the words rather than work them out and is just plain bored and fed up. Today, I thought I would make an extra effort to try and get her to read. Her reply was I want to throw my book in some mud and chuck it out the window. Ok then! I am no teacher and trying to make reading fun is something I struggle with, but I am just so proud of her. Just take a look at her arty handwriting I think it is amazing:

I cannot blame her for not enjoying reading, I was exactly the same! She is just a little version of me and her farther. He hated reading too. But man what a great songwriter he is and she seems to be following in his footsteps as she has written one great song and co wrote one with me. I have always loved writing even though my spelling and grammar is not perfect.

I spoke to one of the Grandma's at school and she told me her daughter hated to read too, but ended up getting a Diploma in English and had the best grades in her class.

At the moment my little girl is making a book for all her stories. She enjoys writing more than reading, guess I have to take the blame for that one! If I get time I would love to share her little witch story she created this year. First she drew all the pictures then she dictated the story from her drawings. I was totally impressed, so it just shows you Mum's and Dad's don't get too stressed out if your child dislikes reading, they all have their own special talents. And all children progress at different stages! I was pleased to hear that the Government are trying to create more apprenticeship jobs as not everyone is gifted with a great memory when it comes to exams.

Is religion dying out? You don't have to go to church to believe in God

I watched a talk show this morning about is religion dying out. My question is why do you need to go to church to believe in God? For me believing in God is to follow some simple rules and just be a good person, the 10 commandments are a good set of family values, but sadly even some religious people fail to keep them. You don't need a religion to believe in God! The following video I found interesting:

I guess I am one of those people that believes everyone is entitled to what they believe in as long as it does not harm another individual. Live and let live! For me God and science go together there is no wrong or right and it really does not matter. As long as people grow up with values and treat others with the same respect that is good enough for me. Although I believe in God I do not want people to force their religion on me. I believe in God but I do not practice it in church and truly believe my calling is to just be a good person and to try and help others if I can. I don't feel I need to go to church to believe in God and I expect there are a lot of people who think the same. Family values are very important to me and sadly I have been witness to some very big flaws from people that pretend to be religious that are clearly not following the rules. However, we just have to accept there are good and bad people in all walks of life and therefore we must not forget there are good church going people like my Nan. Bless her she got £13,000 in debt from helping others, and every penny got paid back.

When I was little my Mum tried to get me to go to Sunday school, I just was not interested. I would rather play with my friends and go on magical adventures in our big gardens than be stuck in doors learning about God. And that was the same for any sort of after school club which had a strict routine. My friends and I had the imagination and the freedom to go wherever we wanted and were lucky to have big huge gardens to go exploring. We were allowed to walk down to the beach and have a picnic of sweeties watching the waves as we planned out our next great adventure. I am so glad my Mother never made me go to Sunday school every Sunday as I would have hated it.

Having a child has brought me closer to God because giving birth to a life is something you just cannot take for granted. So many people are unable to have children and I nearly lost mine. I have a lot to be grateful for and it is really a wake up call to how life is so very important. Since moving to Wales I have saved my partner twice and my little girls friend from chocking on food. The first time I saved my partner from chocking was when I was pregnant. Can you imagine sitting at the dinner table on Christmas Day and seeing your partner struggling to breathe because they had swallowed the meat without chewing. I was so frightened I had no idea what to do. I did not know how to do the Heimlich maneuver  and even if I did can you imagine doing that when you are heavily pregnant. I  just made him bend down and swung my hand with great force to his back which thankfully made the food come out of his mouth. I sat there at the dinner table crying and thanking God for giving me the strength
to save my unborn babies farther. My partner suffers from indigestion because he has a tendency not to chew his food very well and eats far too fast. So I was faced with saving his life the second time a few years later. Thankfully the forceful bang on the back with my hand moved the food and I saved his life yet again. My little girls friend had was eating a hot dog if I remember and she too had not chewed it properly she came running into the kitchen and I could see she was struggling to breathe so I carried out the same routine as I did on my partner. Thank goodness I was in the kitchen and managed to save her. It still brings tears to my eyes now, the shock and the worrying what if?  I was lucky. I would recommend anyone to research on how to save someone from choking as it is a frightening experience.

People need hope in their life and God gives you hope. I feel too many people blame God for the bad things that happen in our world instead of accepting that he put men and women on this earth to make their own way in life and sadly look at the mess we are in. I hope one day we will stop all these silly wars and learn to live together peacefully and help those who need our help the most. I hope my child grows up with less struggles than myself and meets a man that truly respects her as a human being rather than having to be some silly Barbie doll that feels the need to change everything about herself to please him. As that just is not real love!

Vampire lyrics ideal for Twilight film by Jakson Lee

I've been waiting here in the darkness
Waiting for you to appear
From the darkness
It's like a curse stuck in reverse
The heart of darkness
When I lay down it takes me to a place of madness
Girl what can I do to make you see
You wanna be free from this darkness that you lead
I've seen the light from the darkness
Hmmmm be kind to strangers
They may be angels in disguise
Girl what can I do to make you see ...........

Sorry can't give you the whole song or the whole lyrics. But you can hear Jakson Lee
sing part of this song with some clips from Twilight, what a brilliant movie:

If only Jakson Lee put as much effort into promoting his musical career as he does X Box. He has a unique gift. To be able to create all the music himself, the lyrics and put his own vocals to a song in my book is just outstanding! The lyrics to Out of the darkness for me are superb, he so deserves a lucky break!

Twilight vampire song out of the darkness by Jakson Lee (original vampire song)

I am a big fan of Twilight vampire films! When my partner, Jakson Lee, came up with this original song Out of the darkness I just had this image of it being played on one of the Twilight films. Even one of my best friends was impressed and that coming from her means it must be damn good. So here it is Out of the darkness by Jakson Lee without the 'c.'

The one thing that has always impressed me about Jakson Lee has been his unique songwriting talent and amazing voice. He may not be famous, but that is because he is addicted to X Box. What he needs is a manager to sort him out. I am sure if author Stephenie Meyer could hear this song she would say it is fit for the movies! I wonder if America will ever find Jakson Lee?

Oh and I am not the author of Blood and Roses by Sharon Bainbridge. I am the author of a fairy book called Butterfly Lullaby. Sadly it may as well be a vampire story as so far it has been just one big nightmare!

Before I go I just found out the main star of Twilight, Robert Pattinson can sing, how amazing is that. I love this song sang by Robert Pattinson called Never think which is on the Twilight soundtrack. It pulls you into the lyrics and haunts your very sole. Twilight for me is the best love story I have ever seen, I love it!
