NHS Dyslexic Complaint

Quote from the NHS Dyslexia Website:

But people with dyslexia often have good skills in other areas, such as creative thinking and problem solving.

BEFORE I START WITH MY COMPLAINT, THIS IS HOW A GOVERNMENT SERVICE SHOULD ACT. COUNCILLOR KEVIN GRIFFITHS IS A CREDIT TO THIS COUNTRY!

I wish I could say I am surprised that the NHS have refused to add the Dyslexic Inventor Thomas Edison's video to their NHS Dyslexic Website. How did they refuse? They just completely ignored my request.

These people need reminding that Tax Payers money pays for all these Government Services; therefore, we have a God given right to demand change!

Here is my email to the NHS:

11 November 2021 - sent this message on the NHS Website:

https://www.nhs.uk/contact-us/confirmation

Dear NHS,

DYSLEXIA IS A GIFT (AUDIO VISUAL CREATIVE THINKERS)

Could you please add the Thomas Edison Mother video.

When State Education gave up on him, his mother did not:

As you are probably aware Richard Branson is also Dyslexic.

I was taught ITA English Twaddle in school. The worse (worst) education you could think of. A backward ALIEN language that they replaced with REAL English. I had to relearn how to read, write and spell all over again. Imagine that, and having to deal with the smoking promotion as a baby and child. I was always off sick, because I was not allowed to breathe clean air due to bad EDUCATION!

If I (Dyslexic MUM) can turn my Dyslexic daughter into a Bookworm, anyone can do it.

I had to take my daughter out of school, because State Education was causing serious anxiety issues with academic bullying. Please read my blog:

https://butterflylullaby.blogspot.com/2021/09/dyslexic-bookworm.html

My daughter is taking her Music Theory Exam next month. I refuse to label her as DISABLED (Dyslexic) when Dyslexia gives her so many wonderful creative gifts. And no Academic knows my daughter better than I do; therefore, she should not need a Dyslexic test to obtain more time in her EXAM.

I do hope the NHS will support us, and other Dyslexics.

Yours sincerely,

Sharon J. Bainbridge

P.S. I have cured Asthma now with organic plants. I had Asthma for 48 years.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THE GOVERNMENT AND NHS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEY ARE MAKING HUGE MISTAKES IN EDUCATION. ITA ENGLISH TWADDLE  IS JUST ONE OF MANY. I WILL GET AN APOLOGY ONE DAY! OUR CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER!

I WORKED IN THE SECRETARIAL FIELD FOR MANY YEARS, AND CAN TELL YOU, THIS IS NOT HOW YOU REPLY TO A LETTER OR EMAIL. IT IS DISGUSTING. MY REQUEST WAS IGNORED COMPLETELY!

And they have just sent me a bog standard reply, that they send everyone. Is this what Tax Payers money is paying for? An unequal society that refuses to acknowledge that Dyslexics are actually very clever people.

Here is the NHS reply to my above Email I sent them requesting Dyslexic Thomas Edison's Mother video be added to the NHS Dyslexic Website:
