MY JAPANESE KNOTWEED SOAP STORY
Sharon J. Bainbridge (Proud MUM)
Firstly, I would like to thank Monica from London Mums Magazine for her kindness and support. I used to write Art and Craft articles for London Mums Magazine a few years back:
My Japanese Knotweed Soap Story, where do I start? Well, I have been on the most amazing and exciting journey of all time. Financially broke, but so very happy, "Because I am surrounded with much love!" I adore being a MUM! Before I created the Japanese Knotweed soaps, I wrote my Butterfly Lullaby fairy story so I could be a stay at home MUM, and work from home! As a child I really enjoyed having my mum at home, and wanted to give my daughter the same gift ... "My time!" The Butterfly Lullaby book took me on a journey where I learnt about the importance of bees and butterflies.
American Borders used to sell my Butterfly Lullaby books.
Americans love helping people!
FROM BEES AND BUTTERFLIES TO PLANTS
PLANTS HAVE HELPED HEAL MY MANY ILLNESSES! AND I LOST WEIGHT!!!
Just look at the before and after photos! The last thing I want is to be a health burden on my daughter, so that is why my love of plants has been such an extraordinary and life changing journey. I pride myself on being a Free Thinker. Thinking outside the box! Trying new things and following new exciting adventures. (My partner eats meat. And my daughter eats cheese. I don't force my Plant Based diet on my friends. I do cook them meat. I'm not perfect, I fall off the wagon and have the odd cheese sandwich and chocolate bar, LOL).
MY FRIEND, EX NURSE, TOLD ME, "SHARON, YOU NEED TO GET OFF THE ASTHMA INHALERS BECAUSE THE CHEMICALS DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH!"
Chemical Medicines of course help many people. My daughter takes the Asthma Inhaler. But what I have found is how PLANTS really can help cure illness. I keep a Health Diary and track what foods make me healthy and what makes me ill. For me, if I stay off all preservative foods, and stick to a Plant Based Diet, I am 100% Asthma Free. I even cured my hip pain with Plantain a wild plant that grows in our back garden When I found out how powerful plants are, I started to research wild medicines the UK calls WEEDS. I wanted to know what sort of wild medicines I had in our back garden. Thanks to Google and You Tube I came across this amazing video by Herbalist Timothy Lee Scott ...
HERBALIST, TIMOTHY LEE SCOTT, AUTHOR OF INVASIVE PLANT MEDICINE
Imagine my excitement when I found out that I had an anti-ageing plant in my backyard!
RESVERATROL (JAPANESE KNOTWEED)
I HAVE MADE MANY JAPANESE KNOTWEED SMOOTHIES
I made quite a few Japanese Knotweed smoothies. Of course you must not put any Japanese Knotweed in food recycling bins or dustbins. The Council will fine you! And if you forage for Japanese Knotweed, make sure they have not used any chemicals to try and kill it! One man has won a Court Case against Monsanto, claiming the Weed Killers caused his Cancer!
DID YOU KNOW THAT GREEN TEA IS JAPANESE KNOTWEED!
The Japanese drink a lot of Green TEA. The main source of Green Tea is Japanese Knotweed. Did you know that the Japanese live very long lives. Some live up to the grand age of 117. This is the age I am aiming for! So I drink Japanese Knotweed daily. And so does my daughter.
This video shows that the Japanese drink a lot of GREEN TEA!
JAPANESE KNOTWEED NUTRITION
MY NEIGHBOUR LOVED MY JAPANESE KNOTWEED WINE AND SOAPS
I made my neighbour some Japanese Knotweed Wine. They loved it!
HARRODS SELL A FACE CREAM WITH JAPANESE KNOTWEED, IT COSTS £60.
I MAKE MY OWN!
When my sister told me she found a face cream advertised by Harrods with Japanese Knotweed, and it cost £60, I thought WOW! This just proves what a great plant this is!
I DECIDED TO GIVE SOAP MAKING A GO!
I used to suffer with really dry hands and skin. A day did not go by without having to apply hand cream all day and night. My skin is so soft now! I put this down to a Plant Based Diet, and using more organic products on my face and body.
Did you know that in Japan, their Japanese Knotweed soap is worth £7.69. You cannot buy it over here in the UK. That is one expensive soap!
MY JAPANESE KNOTWEED SOAP VIDEO
Local Independent Councillor, Kevin Griffiths, supports all my Japanese Knotweed research. He is a very kind FAMILY MAN! I wish we had more people like him in power. Councillor Griffiths is a credit to the UK and Government Services. He wanted me to give talks in schools about Japanese Knotweed and encourage people to stop using Toxic Pesticides, which have been said can cause CANCER!
JAPANESE KNOTWEED (RESVERATROL SOAP) LONGER SHELF LIFE
For the Japanese Knotweed (Resveratrol) soap to pass the Soap Test with the TOP UK Science Lab, I need to use dried Japanese Knotweed, as opposed to live. This is why you see the colour change.
I RECEIVED THIS RESPONSE RECENTLY FROM A TOP UK SCIENCE LAB, WITH REGARDS TO TESTING MY JAPANESE KNOTWEED RESVERATROL SOAP:
Dear Sharon,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Japanese knotweed is a well known source of resveratrol since extraction is straightforward and cheap. I believe it is now the only source of resveratrol for skincare applications.
Many large supplement sources of resveratrol use Japanese knotweed and use its scientific name in the supplement labels. Japanese knotweed is a concentrated source of emodin, used as a nutritional supplement to regulate bowel motility. The roots of Japanese knotweed are used in traditional Chinese and Japanese herbal medicines as a natural laxative. The active principle responsible for the laxative effect is emodin, present in its natural form as a complex of its analogues.
There are hundreds of skincare products using resveratrol as this quick search on cosdna shows:
Resveratrol has been known and used in skincare products for over a decade. Here’s an article from April 2011New York Times “Resveratrol: A New ‘It’ Cosmetic Ingredient"
We are very familiar with resveratrol and we have over a dozen clients using resveratrol in their products.
We would be happy to prepare a CPSR for you.
We are the most affordable safety assessors in the country with prices cheaper than everyone else already. I’m afraid we cannot offer a discount on this already heavily discounted rate.
Please let me know if you would like to go ahead and I will ask Elena to send you our Excel form to submit your product details.
Kindest regards,
Allison

WE SERIOUSLY DO NOT NEED TO USE WEED KILLERS TO KILL IT ...
THIS IS A FREE FOOD, MEDICINE AND COSMETIC!
MY OTHER (NEW) NEIGHBOUR HAS JAPANESE KNOTWEED ON EITHER SIDE OF HIS FENCE.
BOTH SIDES OF HIS GARDEN!
I keep Japanese Knotweed well away from both sides of my fence, so that it does not venture into my neighbours garden. Sadly, because of bad press on Japanese Knotweed, my new neighbour is too frightened to cut this plant down. So it has intruded into our garden. The problem is, he has now used a Toxic Chemical Company to get rid of Japanese Knotweed. I tried to get Swansea Council to stop using Toxic Pesticides, but to look at other alternatives like ROOTWAVE electricity. But they will not pay out for the £12,000 machine. So I am stuck with my neighbour using a Toxic Chemical Company on the Knotweed right by our fence. Not happy. Especially, as it is a three year treatment. I feel like I will not be about to forage anymore in the garden.
There are other ways to control Japanese Knotweed Naturally! Check out my BLOG ... http://butterflylullaby.blogspot.com/2018/06/control-japanese-knotweed-naturally-no.html
So I guess I will now have to try and find organic gardeners that have this plant in their garden and are happy to share it. I want your Organic Japanese Knotweed with no pesticides!
I MANAGED TO CLEAR THE GARDEN OF JAPANESE KNOTWEED FOR MY
WINTER SUPPLY
My daughter loves Japanese Knotweed in her gravy!
MY DREAM TO HELP FAMILIES TO EARN FROM HOME!
My dream is to one day help mothers earn from home. And even fathers! By researching Japanese Knotweed, I know there is real possibility with these soaps etc to create many jobs! Children love having one parent at home. It gives them security and stability. I know it is not always possible to work from home, and parents do the best they can; however, it is nice to offer help to others if possible. Just like London Mums Magazine has done for me.
TURNING A NEGATIVE INTO A POWERFUL POSITIVE!
THE GIFT OF PLANTS, BEES AND BUTTERFLIES
SELLING THE BUTTERFLY LULLABY BOOKS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE WORK FROM HOME SOAP PROJECT AND HOME EDUCATION FUND
NOTE. The Butterfly lullaby Website is out of date, not used! London Mums Magazine will advise how to buy this book. www.butterflylullaby.co.uk and www.butterflylullaby.com out of date!
I need to sell my Butterfly Lullaby books to raise £150 to get my Japanese Knotweed BEE Soap tested with a top UK Science LAB. Once tested, I can share the recipe and help get families set up in business. The great thing about this Japanese Knotweed soap is that it will raise awareness and help educate parents about the dangers of weed killers, and the benefits of wild herbal plants the UK call weeds. We have many plants in our garden they call weeds, I love foraging in my backyard for Japanese Knotweed, Plantain, Dandelion, Stinging Nettle, Blackberry, Herb Robert, Cleavers and much, much more.
Sometimes bad things happen. But you have to look it in the eye and tell yourself, "Things happen for a reason. There is always someone worse off!" Try and find the POSITIVE!
We were badly mis-sold on our house. Thankfully, we have a lovely neighbour. He built us a small brick wall by the patio to stop the house flooding. And is building a ditch down the back garden to stop the water from the blocked off stream from coming down our garden path near our house.
When it comes to having good people in our lives, I am one of the luckiest people on this earth.
You would think the blocked off stream would have been on the Land Register! I only found out about the stream thanks to my neighbour, he told me how it used to flood the house when it was rented out. The people we purchased this house off, also hid the fact that Japanese Knotweed is in the back garden.
I refuse to go down without a verbal fight! And will turn this negative into a POSITIVE! Why should Home Owners suffer because this plant is in their garden. As long as they keep it away from the house and neighbours, we should be left in peace! Banks should not be allowed to devalue our property, unless JK is a serious problem, which for most it is not when controlled.
People in the UK hate Japanese Knotweed because of the bad press etc. If you look closer, do your research, and start to ask questions ... you will see the benefits! I am determined to turn Japanese Knotweed into a powerful positive, which helps creates many jobs, promotes health and protects our bees/planet from toxic pesticide use! Maybe, even create Green Plant Electricity. The list is endless!
Did you know that Lego are going ECO friendly and creating Lego Bricks with Sugarcane. I believe they could use Japanese Knotweed! This is very exciting indeed!
HERE ARE MY LITTLE JAPANESE KNOTWEED SOAPS
Before I lost weight and got my health on track, I offered my friend (EX NURSE) some RADOX! She kindly said to me, "Thank you Sharon for thinking of me, but I am very careful about what I put on my body. The less chemicals the better!"
This got me thinking. I started to make my own Japanese Knotweed organic face oil, and soaps.
MY BUTTERFLY LULLABY BOOK LAUCH AT THE DYLAN THOMAS CENTRE
COLOUR ME A FAIRIES WISH
Before my Butterfly Lullaby Business got attacked, and website hacked. I was fortunate enough to work with Robin Stevens (Puppeteer) from Children's TV.
He told me, "Sharon, never give up on your dream!"
Lovely kind man. Who knows, one day I may get to work with him again. Here he is reading my story, "Colour me a fairies wish!" This story is a short story based on the above Butterfly Lullaby Fairy Story.
Melody - our daughter - begged me to Home Educate ... and yes that is another fascinating story. (Dork Diaries author helped her to love reading when she struggled with Dyslexia in State School). Melody needs a high quality camcorder to create art and music videos. We also use Google Classroom for English/Maths Lessons etc. She has private Guitar lessons and so on.
MY NEW FRIEND IN CANADA MAKES JAPANESE KNOTWEED SOAPS
In Canada they don't use Toxic Chemical Weed Killers in Parks to get rid of Japanese Knotweed. You can forage in the Parks with no worries. Not like the UK. We are not allowed to forage in the parks and they use lots of Toxic Pesticides on Japanese Knotweed.
The other great thing about Canada is that you don't have to pay £150 to get each soap tested. They really support mothers and help them to work from home.
My friend in the USA wants to work with me with regards to Japanese Knotweed Soaps. She loves this plant too. Hopefully, the UK will catch up and see it's many benefits!
I tried to get Swansea Council to buy some Japanese Knotweed Honey. But no, they are stuck in their ways. And refused. When I have some spare cash, I will buy this honey for my Local Independent Council to try. They are far more open minded. And love our bees and planet as much as I do! As you can see from my Canadian friends video, the BEES love Japanese Knotweed!
THIS YEAR HAS BEEN AN EXCITING ONE!
My new American Friend wants to work with me with regards to Wild Medicines and organic soaps and face oils etc. She loves Japanese Knotweed as much as I do. Her doctor told her, "Whatever you are doing, keep doing it, because you are healing yourself!" She creates her own herbal vitamins, and is curing her Vitamin D and B deficiency problem.
We want to encourage people to keep a Health Diary and track what they eat on a daily basis, and how they feel. Encouraging them to include more plants in their diet is a must!
I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH OTHERS TO TRY AND CREATE GREEN PLANT BASED ELECTRICITY USING JAPANESE KNOTWEED!
Here is my research ...
