WHAT IF LEGO COULD USE JAPANESE KNOTWEED, INSTEAD OF SUGARCANE TO CREATE LEGO BRICKS MADE FROM
P LANTS?
It is lovely to see Lego caring about the planet and our children's future! Thank you LEGO for creating bricks made from plants. I feel we can take it one step further. Currently, dreadful Toxic Chemicals are being used by our Councils and other companies to destroy Japanese Knotweed. This is dangerous for our health, children, pets, bees and PLANET! Please help change this. People who do not want this plant in their garden, school, park or public areas could get Councils to cut down the plant and give the plants to Lego to produce Lego Bricks. Rootwave are currently using electricity to destroy the root. This is a new service, but something we need Councils to put into practise for Homeowners etc, instead of using chemicals.
I want to create a Lego Brick Plant pot, and plant Japanese Knotweed and it's huge root to create GREEN electricity. Who will help me with this project? Copper wire is toxic, so cannot use!

Hi Sharon, for information the use of the weed killers we use is again under review by the Local Government Association and as part of this process we have been asked to supply any details of other systems we have considered. I hadn’t heard of Rootwave but we had included electrical treatment as one of the other alternatives along with hot water blanching.

MY NEIGHBOUR WANTS TO GET RID OF JAPANESE KNOTWEED FROM HIS GARDEN - PLEASE HELP!
I have until end of August 2018 to find a solution to my new neighbours not using a Toxic Chemical Company to get rid of Japanese Knotweed from their garden. It is coming into our garden, which means our ORGANIC, NATURAL GARDEN WILL END UP WITH NASTY TOXIC CHEMICALS, which I don't want.
OUR RABBITS EAT JAPANESE KNOTWEED, AND RUN FREELY IN THE GARDEN!
Sometimes they venture into neighbours gardens. Need I say more?
THE TOXIC CHEMICAL TREATMENT WILL COST MY NEIGHBOUR £600:
September 2018 - one treatment of toxic chemicals £200
September 2019 - one treatment of toxic chemicals £200
September 2020 - on treatment of toxic chemicals £200
Total £600
We love Lego. Melody recently purchased a New Harry Potter Lego set and received a free gift from LEGO. The amazing new Lego Bricks created from plants!
