Mother like daughter Happy Mother's Day Mummy scrapbook layout by Sharon J. Bainbridge Butterfly Lullaby

I was just going through some old photos and came across my Mother like daughter layout. I adore these two baby pictures. She looks the mirror image of me when I was a little baby. Why don't you surprise your Mum with a special scrapbook layout of you and your Mum (Mom) as babies, a Mother's day gift to treasure forever!

I photographed the two photos and created a digital image. Stuck that to some old black paper and added sliver sticky butterflies and hearts. I also added the original photograph of me as a baby with two of my uncles.

Looking through the photographs I came across a gorgeous little drawing my little girl did a few years ago with "I love you Mummy" on it. It also says I hop(e) you still love me. When I read the back she had created the drawing two years ago and back then I was struggling to get her to read her book as she would rather draw than read. Bless her! She even writes on the door how much she loves me. I am one lucky Mummy who cannot wait for Mother's Day to tell my little one just how much she means to me. I keep nearly every drawing she creates because I just adore her art work and it will be such a wonderful thing for her to look back on and show her children.

Another idea for Mother's day is type up a little chore list to give Mummy a break, one that you can put on the fridge. Daddy's all around the world should help Mummy's do the washing up and tidy up as we have to work too. I will see if I can type one up and put it on my blog, really some men need some sort of training, te he. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mummy's out their.

Friday before Mother's Day picked my little one up from school and both my friend and I have had floods of tears from both our children. Their class had all made lovely Mother's Day cards and it was meant to be a surprise for Mothering Sunday. Her little friend, who happens to be the son of one of my best friends who has just been picked for a Sainsbury's add, was so excited that he showed my friend her Mother's Day card. And oh dear, both our girls started to cry their eyes out saying "it was meant to be a surprise." My little one is still crying now and it has been over half an hour. Just sent Daddy out with her to buy something for me for Mother's Day to stop her crying, retail therapy works every time. Bless her! It is so lovely to be loved so much by your child, what a very lucky Mummy I am. And I am looking forward to our wonderful adventure together in the future where I hope to show her the world.

Happy Mothers Day he's going to be on a Sainsbury's advert - I knew he had talent!

Today I got some amazing news from one of my best friends. Her son has been picked for a Sainsbury's advert. How excited am I, that has made my Mother's day! I knew he had talent. Here are some photographs I have taken of him, so watch out UK this little boy is going to be one big star!

Here he is in his little Welsh costume. I love this picture as it mixes the English Victorian costume with the Welsh. The second video of him as Little James Dean on a motorbike, when he was just four years old. And the third video of him in my fairy story called Colour me a fairies wish read out by a famous children's TV entertainer.

But something that really makes my day is having a wonderful cup of tea in my fantastic porcelain cup with my little girls character she created called Little Miss Tea Party. I am one lucky Mummy to have such a talented little girl. Makes life just that little bit more interesting. Want to know where I got this gorgeous little cup printed? Want to create your own porcelain cup design? Just leave me a message on my Butterfly Lullaby blog. Daddy's this is the perfect gift for any Mummy. Either a picture of their child's drawing or a photo of them on a cup. You just cannot go wrong!

ACEO art cards collage Butterfly Lullaby by Sharon J. Bainbridge - I was told my work would never appeal to the USA

Here are some of my ACEO's I created with a collage method using images from my Butterfly Lullaby book. I would like to sell them, but probably not worth it at the moment.

I was told my work would never appeal to the American people! Long story. But lets just say if one Borders shop can sell 27 of my books in one month it shows there is a market. And seeing my books advertised all over the Internet for big money new and used shows I am being taken to the cleaners and that is why I have had to put up with Cyber Bullies. Most people would give up. Especially as you need total family support, people that are going to help you. One thing I know and that is nationality also has a big part on how successful you can be in one Country. Everyone is different and you get these sort of problems worldwide. Wars have a lot to answer for, and people need to stop blaming ordinary people for what Governments do. Ordinary people have no say in what the Government does and we need to remember this! The thing I liked about the Royal Wedding was the fact that Williams bride included Britain as a whole not as individual Countries. I loved the way she included all the flowers from every British Country. If we are going to get out of this recession we need to all work together.

So here is an old video of some of my art cards I created from my Butterfly Lullaby book.

Here are some of my other ACEO's and artwork:

Below my handmade ACEO box I created from scratch. I have collaged the box using
images cut out from my Butterfly Lullaby fairy book. There is a handmade butterfly I
made out of shiny plastic on the front of the box. I would like to sell the ACEO art box too.

My life has been less than boring, which you can read all about on my Butterfly Lullaby blog. But one good thing is, I still know how to smile, laugh and have fun! One lesson I have learnt and that is the only person that can change your life is you, so don't ever give up!

Here is my Facebook link if you love art and crafts the way I do get in touch.

Free children's clown mask template protecting children online and hiding their identity

If you still want to put pictures of your child online then at least get them to make and wear a fun mask so their identity is protected and change their name! If you worry about online children's games that allow them to message each other and make friends, just take the keyboard away. They can still have fun and learn using the mouse, but this way you can have peace of mind and know they cannot answer any one's message or send any and you can delete all friends to keep them safe. Take those rose coloured glasses off and just listen to the news and check out cyber bullying it is a real eye opener. I thought I was the only one having Cyber Bullying problems, but with what I heard from another victim and what happened to her friend it has made me realise that the meeting with our local MP is going to be one serious one that I as a Mother want resolved!

For the fun stuff. How to make a free clown mask.

1. Click on the template image below and save it to your desktop.

2. Print it off

3. You can either just colour it in and stick it to an old cereal packet, cut it out and add elastic.

4. Or you can use the image as a template and cut out foam pieces, which can either be coloured in or use different foam colours to give it that edge.

5. Don't forget to add the nose to the mask!

My meeting with our local Welsh MP is not until May. So if you live in the UK and have Cyber Bullying problems feel free to message me via Facebook, you don't have to add me as a friend, just send a message. Or you can send me a letter c/o Butterfly Lullaby address on my website www.butterflylullaby.co.uk
