Sunset Bunny the Easter Bunny Easter Egg hunt (Cystic Fibrosis) - need a chocolate factory to create the chocolate fairy wand and Easter eggs

Now that Christmas is over, it is time for me to think about Easter for 2011. I would like to arrange a massive Children's fairy Easter Egg hunt in aid of Cystic Fibrosis for Jodie and others like her with Cystic Fibrosis. Any help and support would be so appreciated. With some fairy luck a well known chocolate company will create the chocolate fairy wands and bunny rabbit Easter basket with chocolate Easter eggs. Even a small percentage from the chocolate sales would make a massive difference in the hope for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. In the video below you can hear part of the Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy story:

Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy is a character I created purely from Jodie's love of favourite colours and of course her love of pet bunny rabbits. Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy audio story is on Amazon and i Tunes. All money our end is to go to the charity Cystic Fibrosis with no expenses taken out.  Same with the song Jodie fight to breathe written by me, Sharon J. Bainbridge:)

I would like to try and track down the missing Cystic Fibrosis charity box which got stolen from Asda's this year. Here is Jodie's letter showing her disappointment that anyone could do such an awful thing:

In case you are unable to read Jodie's letter to me I have re typed it:

Dear Sharon

I am sorry it's so late but Thank You so much for the £10 you sent me for my Birthday. Your so sweet to give me £10, I didn't expect any money because I know you don't have much, I really appreciated it thank you so much Sharon. I had a really nice Birthday Day and I got lots of lovely presents and money from people. Me and mum are looking forward to seeing you all in the summer when you come up to visit.

It's so sad Asda has lost their C.F charity box or had it stolen, I can't believe anyone would do anything like that but some people are horrible, I feel really bad after you stood their in Asda all that time and it's now gone I 'am, so sorry Sharon. But it's really great that the petrol station has done well with the C.F box. Your so sweet to do all of that...

Love Jodie

When I get some time I will have a go at making a Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy doll and bunny rabbit children's toy.

Here is a picture of my Sunset Bunny the Easter fairy peg doll fairy:

Toothless the dragon big soft toy handmade by Sharon J. Bainbridge for Little Snowflake child artist (Christmas Present)

Four days later and here we have it a big handmade Toothless the dragon soft toy for my little girl Snowflake. To be honest I think it is a bit of a disaster. I am not that keen on the face, but hey ho, with a bit of luck she will not notice and hopefully I will be able to get hold of some real Toothless Glass eyes after Christmas. No wonder these toys are expensive, I never expected to spend day and night for four days on the thing, ha ha. If only time was on my side I could have done a better job. Never mind!

The Toothless the Dragon soft toy is nearly as big as our double bed, so that is one thing going for it. She wanted a big Toothless the Dragon and did not like the ones I showed her on the Internet as the faces were not cute. As she is so fussy I am a bit worried about her opening it on Christmas Day. Will upload a video so you can see her face on Christmas day.

Well the house is a complete tip as when it comes to art and crafts you need a special room for that sort of thing and help around the house to keep up with day to day chores.

CHRISTMAS DAY AND SNOWFLAKE OPENS UP HER BIG TOOTHLESS THE DRAGON TOY FROM HOW TO TRAIN A DRAGON FILM

Thank goodness Snowflake loves the handmade Toothless the Dragon toy I made. I was really worried she would be disappointed with the Toothless face, but as you can see from the video she adores it, her words "best toy ever." I saw some for sale for nearly £100 which were no way as big as the one I made. And she did not like the face as she said they were not cute. So hip hip hooray Mummy got it right! I am good at something at last. All I need to do now is add the brown false tail as in the film.

My only Christmas present from my partner went missing with Santa. He must like pink lip liners, te he. Oh well, as least I got to give my little girl the sewing machine I used to make Toothless with, bargain price of £14. I gave the machine to her Daddy to give to her to wrap up and give to me on Christmas day. She calls it a making machine, and has been talking about getting me one for ages as mine broke from being left in the damp room. Thank you Snowflake I love it!  And love you even more!!! To see your happy face is more than any present to me.

OOAK black rabbit Zhu Zhu Pet Toy called Cindy Woo - hand painted and changed by Sharon J. Bainbridge for little child artist Snowflake

Little child artist Snowflake loves the Zhu Zhu pet children's toys. She asked for fluffy the white Zhu Zhu pet toy because Zhu Zhu Pet do not currently have a black bunny rabbit toy. Snowflake also asked me to write to Zhu Zhu Pet and request they created a toy just like Cindy Woo her pet black bunny rabbit.

I have written to Zhu Zhu Pet, but the chances of them ever getting my letter are slim. With Christmas just round the corner I thought, well I will get her fluffy the white bunny rabbit Zhu Zhu pet and see if I can alter one of the black hamster toys to look like Cindy Woo our pet bunny rabbit. I used Drayko Ninja Warriors Zhu Zhu pet toy. I think Snowflake will be over the moon when she opens up her Christmas present as Cindy Woo was her Christmas present last year, this year she gets a OOAK Cindy Woo toy. Cute!

As you can see from the picture I added long ears to the hamster toy and hand painted the inside of the ears silver and also painted around the eyes. For the white feet and white mark on the back I used food colouring to tone it down to a grey silver colour. Now the hamster toy looks just like Cindy Woo our pet rabbit.

Snowflake has opened her early Christmas Present on Christmas Eve, she loves her little Cindy Woo Zhu Zhu Pet. Who knows Zhu Zhu pet may create a real one that blows kisses:

How I made the custom made Zhu Zhu Pet Cindy Woo black rabbit children's toy for Snowflake:

The above custom made black rabbit Zhu Zhu Pet is of course a one off. I cannot recreate these for copy write reasons, so if you want one, write to Zhu Zhu Pet and ask them to make Cindy Woo the black rabbit Zhu Zhu pet:

Zhu Zhu Pets
121 Hunter Ave.
Suite 103 Saint Louis
Missouri 63124

Wish I could say Toothless the Dragon toy is working out as well, but it is a complete disaster. You need time to plan to make something like this, and time is something I don't have. Oh well hopefully it will make her giggle if nothing else. Will post a picture of my handmade Toothless the Dragon Toy when finished. Wish me luck - back to the sewing machine. Hopefully next year I will be earning some decent money and will be able to get her a real Toothless dragon toy, but it will need to be cute for her to like it, the current ones don't look cute at all so it is a good job she does not like them as they are expensive too.

Cindy Woo was Snowflakes Christmas present last year (2009) - she loves her pet bunny rabbit

Last Christmas we got Little Snowflake a baby dwarf bunny rabbit. Cindy Woo is part dwarf and part something else a bit of mixed bunny rabbit. In the video below you will see pictures of Cindy Woo in the snow (January 2010) with her little handmade bunny rabbit red Christmas lead, which I made out of an old red velvet top and black wool. Snowflake nagged me to make her little baby rabbit a lead! There is also a little video clip of Cindy Woo when she was just a little baby bunny rabbit, so cute. And of course at the end of the video you will see a very sweet silk painting of Cindy Woo in the snow created by little child artist Snowflake.

Here is little Snowflake and her pet bunny rabbit Cindy Woo (our snow bunny.) We made a snow bunny last year and a snow cat.

I have just finished making Snowflakes dress from an old white ballet dress. I used her paper snowflakes as a pattern to create pretty snowflakes that float at the bottom of the dress. Will upload a video or pictures later this week.

For now I have to get my act together as she wants a big Toothless the Dragon toy. I only have a week to make one without her knowledge. And I have to change a Zhu Zhu Pet toy into Cindy Woo our pet bunny rabbit as they don't sell a black rabbit Zhu Zhu pet toy yet. I have written to them so with some fairy luck who knows Cindy Woo may become famous. Wish me luck!

Snowflake child artist sings Little Snowflake song in the snow - no school today (17.12.10)

Here is child artist Little Snowflake with her Snowflake mask on in the snow singing her Little Snowflake song. I created the Little Snowflake song to promote her art and crafts. Snowflake would rather stay at home with me than go to school, but today was toy day so she was a little disappointed there was no school!

Little Snowflake made a tortoise snowflake, don't you think this snowflake is one of a kind (OOAK.) Ok it was no doubt a total fluke, but lets face it for her age she is amazing at art and crafts.

Here is a video of Little Snowflake making a tiny baby snowflake and helping her friend Finn. The big Snowflake on her head is one she also made herself. These two children make an amazing double act. If I had the money I would create a tv show with them doing art and crafts.

I took a picture of Finn when he was four and I think you will agree he looks like a little boy version of James Dean. The leather jacket, motorbike and amazing blond hair, he just looks so cool! I am totally shocked that Kinder Egg did not pick him for their add through the Mark Jermin Stage School. They wanted someone cheeky, cute and chatty which cries out Finn! What do you think?

Today was great fun, we went up to Hendy where my friends friend lives and slid down his very large hill. We all got covered in snow, and the children had a ball. I cannot remember seeing so much snow in the UK for years. Who knows we may get a White Christmas!

Christmas Party booking - know the Terms and Conditions re cancellation by colleagues, which are meant to be common law and businesses do not have to tell you about!

I am going to make this short but sweet. If you organise your Christmas Party for your work colleagues, make sure you get the full money up front before going ahead with the booking (never mess around with deposits,) that includes the taxi fare.

Things happen, you cannot help health problems, but sadly venues do not see this and the law is on their side. Ask the venue for their Terms and Conditions, so you can show them in black and white that if they cannot attend for any reason they will lose all their money!

Trading Standards told me I should know the law. Well not only did I not know the law, but neither did any of my work colleagues or their husbands who are quite high up in the Council. We were all of the opinion that they would lose their deposit, but not have to pay for the whole meal due to illness. A business is just that and should make things clear when booking a Christmas Party etc, it saves little people being treated like a doormat! So if any businesses read this, and you want returning customers, make sure you make it very clear that once booked there is not going back and money will not be refunded!

On a funny note did you know that Mr Lazy PJ's for men have all sold out. There must be a lot of lazy men out their, I've got one of them, te he. I prefer to call mine Lazy X Box, what do you call yours?

How to make a foam Snowman Christmas tree decoration with little Snowflake child artist - Xmas arts and crafts for children

There is nothing more special for a child than to decorate the Christmas tree and make their very own special Christmas decorations. Here is little child artist Snowflake showing children how to make a cute little foam Snowman tree decoration.

Foam is a brilliant material for children to cut and make things with. Snowflake has not even used patterns for the Snowman, all cut out by hand, completely off the cuff craft idea. The Cindy Woo tree decoration was created using her drawing.

Hopefully we will get to upload the video of Snowflake singing her Little Snowflake song. I am just working on the snowflakes for her dress.

Here are some pictures of her handmade foam tree decorations:

Have fun this Christmas with your children, kids love arts and crafts and make happy memories.

Cindy Woo pet bunny rabbit tree decoration designed by Snowflake little child artist and Cindy Woo trying to eat a toy Christmas carrot

Little Snowflake (child artist) designed this gorgeous little Cindy Woo tree decoration of our pet bunny rabbit.

Here is Cindy Woo (pet bunny rabbit) trying to eat Snowflakes Snowman's toy carrot from his nose. Very cute.

Find out how we made the Cindy Woo bunny rabbit tree decoration from simple materials. Coming soon how to make a Snowman decoration for your tree. Same materials used for Cindy Woo bunny rabbit tree decoration. Kids will love this Christmas art and craft activity as it is nice and simple for them to do and something for them to keep for years to come.

Little Snowflake child artist showing you how she makes a little snowflake out of paper

In the video below you can see my little girl Snowflake making a little snowflake out of paper. I personally feel she is amazing and even my friends think she is a gifted child when it comes to art, crafts and singing. The big snowflake on her head, which looks like a Sunflower she also made herself.

One of her snowflakes looks like a tortoise, I cannot even make a snowflake out of a normal size piece of paper so to me this is brilliant, especially for her age.

I am busy making her snowflake dress, which I have used her paper snowflakes as a template. Keep watching and let me know what you think.

Snowflake hates reading and finds school work difficult so any support with her gift would be so appreciated. She now sings her school book instead of reading, which to be honest is far more interesting. In the above video you can hear her singing a song we wrote together to do with a school project. The children were asked to create posters to stop people drinking and driving. As an arty family we plugged together, Snowflake and I (Sharon J. Bainbridge) came up with the lyrics and Daddy (Jakson Lee) created the Melody and music. The Christmas song is here on my blog and on You Tube. It is a sad Christmas song but hopefully it will make people think before drinking and driving. I saw a very sad video on You Tube about a poor girl who you cannot even recognise as the same person. She lost her eye, her fingers and it just bought tears to me eyes. I will most certainly be putting anyone off drinking and driving. The person that hit her has to live with it and wishes he could take it all back. The pubs should put her poster up as it would honestly make people think twice.

On a happy note. We will be back with how to make Christmas Decorations of your pet etc.

Sad song Christmas is dead don't drink and drive - balloon sent to heaven with children's message to parents

Little child artist Snowflake and I (Sharon J. Bainbridge) created the lyrics to the song Christmas is dead don't drink and drive. Snowflake came up with No presents from Mum, No presents from Dad, which I think are brilliant lyrics. Snowflakes Daddy, Jakson Lee, created the Melody and his voice is simply beautiful. I hope to get a video of them singing the song together as a duet. This is a school homework project. See video of Jakson Lee singing the song live:

Quick update: Last night we recorded little Snowflake (child artist) singing her song Christmas is dead don't drink and drive. I am so proud of her, not only is she a great little artist who can draw amazing pictures, but she also has a beautiful little voice like her Daddy Jakson Lee. Qualifications are not everything, some people are just born gifted, we need to embrace that and take the pressure off children:

Here is little Snowflakes artwork, I love the balloons she has created with the messages to heaven sent by Holly an Sam to their parents. Thanks to Monica, Snowflakes friends Mum for giving me the idea of the balloons. She sends messages to her Mum and their pet dog every year, which I find so touching and would make a wonderful story.

Here are the lyrics to Christmas is dead don't drink and drive (sad Christmas song)

Holly and Sam
Tears in their eyes
No Mum and Dad
Christmas is sad
No presents from Mum
No presents from Dad
No love for them
Christmas is dead
Balloon to the sky
Sparkles and shines
Tear drops alive
Don't drink and drive
We miss you Mum
We miss you Dad
No love for us
Christmas is DEAD

Stay safe this Christmas for your children's sake. My Nan was an orphan and had a very sad life. Children need their Mum's and Dad's more than you know. Have a wonderful Christmas and long happy life! Lucky for me Jakson Lee does not drink.

How to train a dragon Toothless the dragon mask handmade by Sharon J. Bainbridge and worn by Snowflake from Butterfly Lullaby

I have been meaning to put this handmade Toothless the dragon mask on my Butterfly Lullaby blog for ages. Snowflake was even tempted to wear it to her Halloween party. But we had one missing thing, and that was the costume to go with it. If I was not working I would have been able to make her the costume, but sadly life as a Mum (Mom) is far from easy, especially if your partner plays online X-Box.

Snowflake is expecting a Toothless the Dragon huge soft toy. On my salary I cannot afford to buy her one of those, so I have no option but to try and make one and somehow find the time to do it. It seriously makes me laugh the way some men expect women to work, cook, clean, do the garden and look after the kids while they sit back relax and play their stupid online X-Box. I am one pee ed off Mummy! But one day I will earn from Butterfly Lullaby and then this little dragon will breathe fire!

Later today I hope to add a You Tube video of little Snowflake the little child artist drawing Toothless the dragon. For all you struggling Mum's (Mom's) out their that are taken for granted. Fight back, don't be a doormat, I am going to fight tooth and nail to get the life my child and I deserve.

How to write the word Snowflake the arty way by little child artist Snowflake - big letter to Jagger and Woody from Real Radio

Here you can see little child artist Snowflake writing the word Snowflake the arty way. She has even drawn Cindy Woo (pet bunny rabbit) writing the letter L. The handwritten letters have candles attached and I think the big letter is just beautiful and should be entered into the Guinness Book of Records when finished.

We may take Snowflakes letter by hand to Real Radio to give to Jagger and Woody as with my luck it will probably go missing in the post as did my Butterfly Lullaby book when I sent it recorded delivery to This Morning TV Show over three years ago. Snowflakes letter starts with: Dear Jagger and Woody, Mummy listens to your show every morning. My art name is Snowflake...

We hope that Jagger and Woody from Real Radio will record my short children's story called Aled and the Black Voice River to raise money for the local Welsh School Canteen. I created this story when I helped clean out the local Bont River approx three years ago. Going from a damp house to a damp work place is getting me down. The canteen needs to be rid of the damp and brightened up with all the children's art work. Any help would be so appreciated.

This Thursday we dressed as Pirates to Promote School Dinners. The food was amazing, I love the curry and so do the kids. I was so disappointed to hear that Johnny Depp has visited some English Schools in the UK, but we had missed the boat, as it would have meant the world to see him at our school, especially as the canteen really needs help. We have condensation falling on our head as their is no heating in the kitchen area. And the floor gets flooded when it rains. There is heating in the canteen area for the children. We are going to freeze this winter, especially with the snow! At least the Evening Post turned up and took our pictures. I will have to get hold of a copy for my blog. Jammie Oliver and Johnny Depp would be impressed with the amount of young reception children that eat vegetables! We are told there is no money to sort out the damp problem in the kitchen area so we need a miracle!

Handmade Pudsey Bear for Sale for Children in need - made by Sharon J. Bainbridge from Butterfly Lullaby

I stayed up till 12.00pm last night making my little 8 inch OOAK Pudsey Bear for Children in need. He has his own little Butterfly Wings so he can fly to children to help them when they are sick and need him. I really want to make him a little waistcoat so his wings can be detached.
The above handmade Pudsey Bear is hand sewn with blanket stitch and made out of bright yellow felt. The Butterfly Wings are hand painted in places. I feel a little sad that life is so hectic that I could not have planned this earlier as I feel I have probably missed the boat re trying to sell him for Children in need. With the amount of bad luck I have it may be safer to get Children in need or someone else to sell him for me. But I want all the money to go to the charity with no expenses taken out. Any offers! Can't get to my email at the moment. I seriously need a guardian angel to watch over me as life on the net is no fun for this little Butterfly.  But I have to say thank you to Google as nearly all my work comes up on the front page. Thanks for your support Google!

Yesterdays post.....

Little Snowflake wanted a real Pudsey Bear, but as Daddy did not want to drive all the way to Asda's I had no choice but to make one. I tried Tesco's and Boots but Boots had sold out and Tesco's do their own thing.
Well in a panic I got Jakson Lee to drive me over to Dunelm Mill. I picked up some yellow felt and other felt colours and here is our little homemade Pudsey Bear. I cannot sell the original one I made for little Snowflake, but I will make another one tonight, especially for children in need. I was going to put the bear on Ebay, but seeing as it is asking me for my credit card details and messing me around again, decided to just ask for people to bid by email to orders@butterflylullaby.co.uk and for the winning bidder to make a cheque made out to Children in Need (Sterling Pounds.) I will upload a picture of the finished bear later tonight. The one below took me three hours to make and is 8 inches high. The winning bidder will get an OOAK Pudsey Bear, which will be different from the rest. Who knows he may even have angel or fairy wings.

Walking to school little Snowflake got lots of lovely comments. She looks as cute as a picture. My friend made some Pudsey Bear cakes so I had to get a picture of them too. And don't you just love little Snowflakes drawing of Pudsey Bear in the picture below:

Little Snowflake child artist song sung by Jakson Lee

Little Snowflake is an amazing little child artist who now has her own song. Lyrics by me Sharon J. Bainbridge and sung by Jakson Lee.

Here is little Snowflakes latest drawing of Little Miss Cappuccino Coffee (her own design,) as you can see she is a massive Mr Men fan:

LITTLE SNOWFLAKE CHILD ARTIST SONG
Little Snowflake
Little Snowflake
She's like a little artist
Who wants to draw with you

Little Snowflake
Little Snowflake
She's like a little artist
With Cindy Woo

Wishing you lots of fairy luck little Snowflake, I hope you get your wish to teach little children how to draw.

Snowflakes Daddy (Jakson Lee) makes up a butterfly song on the spot, help us finish it!

Little child artist Snowflakes Daddy (Jakson Lee) is very talented. If you could show some support and help us finish the butterfly song it would mean the world. Here are the lyrics for the Butterfly song so far:

Time goes on by
Butterfly
Time goes on by
Butterfly, butterfly, butterfly
Away

Makes me sad to see him wasting his talent. He spends more time on XBox than he does creating original songs anymore. This is not the man I fell in love with, he used to live and breathe music. But I guess the talent shows have knocked his confidence and he sings no more! One comment left for him this week on the video below really chocked me. I called him up at work and tried to read this persons comment, I could hardly speak for tears. Thank you for your wonderful support. You must have inspired him re the Butterfly song!

Snowflake little child artist sings rain is falling all around - English version

Snowflake is a little child artist who has the most amazing ability to create unique works of art, she started drawing at the very young age of 2 years old. Her pet rabbit Cindy Woo will soon join her as she would like to teach 5 year olds art and crafts. Last night she said to me "Mummy, I want to be famous."

On You Tube Snowflake has had over 2,600 hits on her original drawing, the flower alien:

She takes after her farther, Jakson Lee, with her lovely singing voice. Below you can hear her sing Rain is falling all around. Celyn is being baptised this month and Snowflake has been asked to sing as a special surprise. They have been the best of friends since nursery.

Here are some of Snowflakes other pictures and creations:

I love Snowflakes Little Miss Tea Party drawings she created. She would love the Mr Men to create a story for this character.

Handmade Cindy Woo bunny rabbit slippers - Snowflakes pet rabbit from Butterfly Lullaby art show

Here is Snowflake wearing my handmade Cindy Woo bunny rabbit slippers. I have to admit her slippers are far better than mine as hers are black like our pet bunny rabbit "Cindy Woo" and look really cute. Check out my previous blog where she is wearing her handmade slippers she created all by herself. There are some pictures of her and Cindy Woo as Witchypoo for Halloween. A rabbit witch with per pet Bunny Rabbit instead of a cat, now theirs a novel idea.

As my sewing machine is broken, I used black wool to sew the bunny rabbit slippers together by hand. They were pretty easy to make, but as all handmade items very time consuming. But hey they put a big smile on my little Angels face. If you want to find out how I made these cute little children's slippers leave me a note. I will need some persuading as life is pretty hectic, so the more good comments left the better. I would like to remake these bunny rabbit slippers using black fur fabric instead of the purple.

Thanks to everyone locally who put money in the Cystic Fibrosis Charity Box, I sent Cystic Fibrosis a cheque last week for approximately £27 (can't remember the exact figure.) I also sent them a cheque for approximately 20 Butterfly Lullaby book sales. Remember to support Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy story as all the money from this audio story on Amazon and I Tunes goes to Cystic Fibrosis, no money taken out our end for expenses!

Halloween with Butterfly Lullaby Snowflake and Cindy Woo - Children's Black Rabbit Mask

My little Snowflake wanted to create a special Halloween children's mask based on her pet rabbit Cindy Woo. So here we have it, the amazing black rabbit Cindy Woo Halloween mask and Witchypoo hat. How cute does she look!

Over the weekend she asked if she could make some Cindy Woo black bunny rabbit slippers. I said you will need fabric for that sweetie pie, but she replied "no Mummy, just give me some coloured foam." She drew round her feet on the foam and cut out the rest of the pieces by just guessing. I have to admit I am very impressed and feel very proud to have such a creative and talented little girl. They look far better than the bunny rabbit slippers I made her.

Here is Snowflake and Cindy Woo as Cindy Woo black rabbit Witchypoo characters. I know she is my little angel, but I think she looks really amazing. When we went trick and treating last night everyone commented on just how sweet she looked.

Last night we recorded part of the Butterfly Lullaby story where the Butterfly Princess turns into a bat and drains her Mother of all her energy. Sadly I am somewhat jinxed, no computer yet again so using my partners. I don't have the programme I need to edit the video as it is on the one that crashed. And the damp in our house is not covered by Insurance, surprise, surprise. So any help selling the Butterfly Lullaby fairy books would be appreciated as little Snowflake has to take her inhalers every day now due to the damp environment, which is very much like Halloween every day. Wheeze, sneeze, cough and breathe. Even I am back on the inhalers after years of not needing them.

Off you fly little Snowflake on your broomstick with Cindy Woo and we will see you very soon. Please come back as Snowflake loves art and crafts and hopes to teach little children how to make lots of wonderful things.

In the video clip below you can see me reading part of the Butterfly Lullaby fairy story with Snowflake. Our Halloween special where the Butterfly Princess turns into a bat and drains her mother of all her energy.

P.S. Looking forward to sending Cystic Fibrosis their donation soon with my contribution from books sales. Thank you to everyone locally who put money in the Cystic Fibrosis charity box. And for the one that got stolen, shame on you!

P.P.S Google can you please only put ads on related to children products. Thank you! Money from ads to go to Jodie who has Cystic Fibrosis.

Best gravy in the world Nan's gravy recipe made by Snowflakes Mummy

My Nan (Sybil Stanley Myles) was one of the best cooks I have ever come across. Her food was totally amazing! When I lived with my Nan in my early 20's I used to look forward to getting the train back from London (work) and walking in to a lovely home cooked dinner. And Sunday Dinner was most definitely one of my favourites because of her outstanding gravy. "No one makes gravy like my Nan!"

So let me share my Nan's wonderful gravy recipe with you. It is a great way to get your kids to eat vegetables too:

Leave me a comment if you get to try out the gravy and let me know what you think. Remember I use the water from the steamed vegetables and I usually add the following to the homemade gravy:

Bisto
1 x Oxo cube
2 x roast potato's
1-2 x parsnips
2 x sweet potato's
2 x broccoli stems
Spoon full of carrots
Spoon full of peas

Yum, yum said Snowflake. My little girl just loves Mummy's homemade gravy from Nan's recipe.

Mummy said "if Daddy does not put his washing in the basket Halloween will get him!"

I wonder how many Mum's (Mom's) out their end up nagging their partner (husband) more than their child about being tidy and putting their washing in the washing basket?

Well ladies here is the picture you have all been waiting for:

I have been with my partner for 10 years and he still is unable to put his washing in the washing basket. His clothes end up by the bed, under the bed, by the side of the washing basket or on top of the washing basket, but "never in the washing basket." Time for change honey, Halloween has most definitely got it's own back on you!

My little girl really enjoyed making her Daddy into a Mummy using white toilet roll. Great Halloween Party Game, but even better way to make a statement, te he.

Come back and see how we made a Cindy Woo Bunny Rabbit Halloween Mask and costume.

P.S. Leave me your stories re what you have to put up with! Or are you lucky, do you have a perfect man (husband?)

Tinker Bell leaves her old fairy dust bottle for Snowflake, but she has to tidy her toys away!

Most children love to get all their toys out, but when it comes to tidying them away they moan! So thank you so much Tinker Bell for leaving your very own old fairy dust bottle filled with magical fairy dust for Snowflake. But most of all thank you for leaving her a message asking her to help me around the house and tidy her toys away. I hope your message works. I love you and so do the Butterfly Lullaby fairies! And I think you know just how much Snowflake loves you!
Here is Snowflake our Butterfly Lullaby child artist showing you the fairy dust Tinker Bell left her. What a lucky girl she is. I don't know of any other child that has been given Tinker Bells very own fairy dust bottle. She must know what a good job we are doing with trying to raise money for sick little children like Jodie who have Cystic Fibrosis and Diabetes. So please tell everyone you know about Sunset Bunny the Easter fairy audio story, which is on Amazon and I Tunes. All money our end goes to Cystic Fibrosis with no expenses taken out! With some fairy luck Cadbury will make the Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy chocolate wand for Easter.

Keep coming back as we will be showing you how to make a Cindy Woo mask for Halloween!

Don't buy the Butterfly Lullaby book from anyone but me the author (Sharon J. Bainbridge.) I want to make sure Cystic Fibrosis get their promised money per book "and this is the only way." I have sold 25 books in under two weeks just through word of mouth through the Welsh School. Anyone that sees the book falls in love with all the beautiful fairy photographs. Any support would be appreciated! The Butterfly Lullaby songs are on Amazon and I Tunes.

All money from my Google Blog ads will go to Jodie to try and get her to Disney. This little girl has been bullied and no longer goes to school. Is it not bad enough she has a serious illness with no cure? With lots of fairy luck my blog will be used to do more good by giving sick children days out while they are still able to enjoy them.

I will be going to collect the Cystic Fibrosis collection boxes soon and sending my donation from book sales to them before Christmas. Leave me a message if you would like to help!

Snowflake child artist looks like Fluffy the Zhu Zhu pet - Christmas wish list

Snowflake the little child artist looks like Fluffy the Zhu Zhu Pet children's toy. On her wish list for Christmas she hopes to get Fluffy as she will be company for our real pet rabbit Cindy Woo.

With Halloween coming up Snowflake would like me to make her a Cindy Woo black bunny rabbit costume. Only problem is my sewing machine conked out with the damp in the house. I will have to think of another way. We have already started on the black bunny rabbit Cindy Woo mask. So watch this space and see what type of children's costume we can create based on our pet rabbit.

Tedi Twt goes to Borders to see the Butterfly Lullaby fairy book - Welsh Teddy Bear

Who is Tedi Twt you ask? Well all the school children know who he is, as they get to take him home, dress him up and take him on amazing adventures all round the world. Tedi Twt is the schools teddy bear. He has a bag full of clothes and a book for children to add their photos to and write about his adventures with them when they take him on outings out of school. He is one lucky Welsh Teddy Bear.

My little Angel took Tedi Twt to Borders a year or so ago to see my fairy book Butterfly Lullaby. This was of course before Borders went under. Here you can see him sitting next to my Butterfly Lullaby fairy book on the Borders book shelf in the Welsh book section. My little girl begged me to make Tedi Twt the Welsh teddy bear some PJ's so he could sleep by her side. So here they are yellow pixie PJ's with teddies pixi hat. I even made the toothbrush and cup.

I have been asked to attend the Universal Children's Day in Hastings on the 20th November 2010. There I will be putting on a Butterfly Lullaby show with dancing and singing and lots of pictures and stories created the Butterfly Lullaby way.

One story close to my heart is the Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy story, which was created purely to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis in the hope for a cure for Jodie and others like her. All money our end with no expenses take out will go to the charity from any audio downloads of this story. The Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy story is on Amazon and I Tunes.

Another story which I will be showing is the one read out by famous Robin Stevens who has over 30 years in Children's TV. That story is of course Colour me a fairies wish:

£1 per Butterfly Lullaby book goes to Cystic Fibrosis for Jodie and others like her. The book was printed in the UK, that is why it is impossible to compete with prices from major publishers like Disney. I sadly have no control over what some websites sell my books for. So when the book is sold for £9.99 (the retail price is £15 which is printed on the back) and I have to pay £3.50 to post the book to them to post out to their customer it makes it impossible to recoup the printing costs let alone the charity and postage, as I have their commission to pay as well. Although Cystic Fibrosis is always paid by me when I supply the book, I cannot comment on other sellers! £1 per book is meant to go to the charity when sold new or used. As my books were not paid for by Borders when they went under this does upset me!

It is a complement to see book sellers selling my books for £60/34 used. One book seller told me that he purchased a batch of books from a charity shop. Well that explains where they went as a local lady that does the craft circuit took a batch of books and my displays and has disappeared off the face of the earth. The same book sellers were advertising my book for £34 used this year, but after my Mother in law questioned them they reduced the price right down. The thing is I was not born yesterday, I know when I am being scammed! And I really do not like the fact that the charity is being exploited along the way!

Before the Butterfly Lullaby songs ended up on Amazon and I Tunes they were available on our website.
Over 30,000 hits the songs had last year. Jakson Lee has had over 64,000 plays on his original songs. The Butterfly Lullaby song along with no publicity has had over 19,000 plays. So we have most certainly done something right.

It is time for proper protection on the Internet, I will fight with everything I have and that is why I have taken a part time job that fits in with my little girls schooling. Anne (head chief) who I work with took one look at my Butterfly Lullaby book and said to my little girl "the book is amazing, look how talented your Mummy is, and here she is working in the kitchens." Anyone that sees the book, falls in love with the colourful fairy pictures straight away and wants to buy it. I have sold seven books by just showing it to four people at the school.

My blogs may be full of grammar errors etc, but when it comes to books, that is what you pay an editor for! And being dyslexic is a gift, it makes you use your creative side of the brain more and I think you will agree no one can say my work lacks colour or originality!

Here is the link to Jakson Lee's music page with the original Butterfly Lullaby song, so you can see just how many hits he has had. He has our albums on I Tunes and Amazon. So if you buy anything related to Butterfly Lullaby songs, stories, or other Jakson Lee songs, please leave me a message on my Google Blog, so I can thank you:

My Google blog will hopefully raise money to put towards getting little Jodie (Cystic Fibrosis and Diabetes) to Disney, then I will use the money to go towards helping children with CF to have fun days out, before they get too sick to enjoy it!

Before I go, my little local story Aled and the black voice river will hopefully be translated into Welsh and made into an audio story to help raise money for our local schools. Where I work the canteen is in need of some tender care. I can visualise it full of children's art. Who knows it could end up as a Butterfly Lullaby art gallery for children.

For mash gets smash, our children deserve real mash potato and we give them that in our UK schools, come on America we love you!

Jamie Oliver has to be admired. What he has done for the UK schools is amazing. I really hope with all my heart that all the American people, who we love, will support him on change.

America is an amazing country and we all love their films and culture. Being a Mum I know full well what it is like trying to juggle everything, and I hate cooking, because I have to tidy up afterwards! I had to laugh as I was talking to my friend on the phone this weekend and I asked her if she remembered the packet mash potato advert when we were kids "Mash gets smash." She giggled and said she made some that evening as she was late home and very hungry. I asked her what was it like, and she replied it tasted ok and that she enjoyed it. I then told her about Jamie Oliver and the packet mash in the American schools. I don't know anything about these products so cannot say what is good and what is bad for you, and would guess all products are different?

I am no saint, believe me I hate cooking and if I can find a quick way to make dinner quickly with no mess, I usually do. But Jamie has really made me think about things. I want my child to grow up healthy so I think I will see if I can get hold of one of his cookery books to make cooking faster and more fun. And as it is time for change, honey put your apron on and do the washing up!

I work part time in a local Welsh school now to fund my Butterfly Lullaby business, which is part charity, helping raise money for Cystic Fibrosis through some of my stories, like Sunset Bunny the Easter Fairy. And I have to say I am amazed at some of the gadgets they have in the school kitchens. Totally amazing, could really do with these at home. There is a potato and carrot peeler, it also grates cheese and who knows what else. And a huge mash potato mixer. Making mash potato for a huge number of school kids is no big deal.

If I can get permission to get someone to video me making some in the school kitchen, I will. For me to say making mash potato for school children is easy, and I hate cooking, believe me it is easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Jamie Oliver, I wish you all the luck in the world in the USA. I felt very sad for you when I saw you cry on TV, but that just shows how much you care, and want to help save our children, and anyone with a heart has to admire that!

P.S. The mash gets smash advert still makes me giggle! The adverts are brilliant.

How to draw / paint on Wellington Boots using Posca Pens - save the bumblebee design

My little angel said she wanted red boots with butterflies on for her school garden club. Well you know what it's like you can never find what you are looking for when you want it. So instead I looked into painting wellington boots. The wellington boots and Posca Pens arrived today and she was so excited, and I have to admit I was amazed at her painting skills for such a young age. And very proud that she chose the bumblebee as her main design in the aim to get other children to plant plants that will help the bumblebee survive.

Here are her boots she decorated with bumblebees and butterflies, and below you can see her showing you how to draw a gorgeous little bumblebee using the Posca Paint Pens.

See our other blogs and videos on how to save the bumblebee. We also have a lovely video showing you how to draw a bumblebee mask on your child. I used old makeup and glitter, details on my Butterfly Lullaby blog.
