DYSLEXIC MOTHER TURNS DYSLEXIC DAUGHTER INTO A BOOKWORM
We are Creative Audio Visual Thinkers ... the UK calls Dyslexic (Disabled)
Surely, there is a way to describe people in a kinder, more humain way? One of my dear friends is crippled because of drunk drivers. He is very intelligent and a gentleman. I do not think of him as Disabled.
I would like to thank Dork Diaries author - Rachel Renee Russell - for sending our daughter her signed book, and for the beautiful letter she sent her!
Currently, the school system in the UK is still failing to teach Dyslexic children basic skills like reading, writing and spelling. How are other Countries doing?
If I - a Dyslexic Mother - can turn our Dyslexic daughter into a BOOKWORM and a talented Creative Writer, then anyone can do it! Education starts at HOME! Your child/children need you to spend time with them. I am giving you free advice on how I got our Dyslexic daughter to love reading, and writing. You can do this too with your own child/children. And I will share with you for FREE, how I did it. Remember, a teacher teaches more than 30 children in a class. Your child needs one to one support, patience and KINDNESS!
Before I begin, I would like you to watch this video. Our daughter made a Moshi Monster toy film as a child, about how State School made her cry. How it made her feel stupid and worthless. Some bullying teachers and children made her life sad. There were some kind teachers, but sadly our children are haunted by the bad ones.
You can also hear her made up song on the spot about how much she hated school, and reading.
At the end of the video you will hear her sing a children's storybook from the Library. It is quite something:

ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILDREN TO MAKE FILMS ABOUT THEIR SCHOOL LIFE!
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO HELP CHILDREN TO LOVE READING:
1. Let your child choose the book they want to read
2. Get your child to read a page at a time (without stressing them out)
3. Every word your child cannot read. Write it down!
4. Get your child to write the words down three times (words they could not read)
5. Now ask your child to have a go at spelling these words
Important: Be relaxed, patient and KIND! A child cannot learn if they are bullied!

Nursery Rhymes have an interesting HISTORY. They were used to share news years ago, all in secret code. Telling the poor of the dreadful things some Elites did to people. This is before poor people could read and write. The Medical Journals and Bible were written in Latin. This controlled knowledge!

HOW SINGING RYHMES AND STORIES HELPS A CHILD TO LEARN
I interviewed Nanny K (Kate) from seesingsay. She has been a Nanny for 23 years. In that time she has been studying how babies and children learn faster with Singing Rhymes. In Japan, they sing all day long to toddlers in Nursery School. I wish we had this here in the UK. Children would be far less stressed out, and would learn faster.
Personally, I hate the way our school treats our children like Race Horses. But if your child is in the school system in the UK, they have no choice but to try and keep up. Otherwise they get left behind.

Please help stop this bullying towards our poor children in the State School System.
Give them a choice. If they have their hand up to read, great. But leave those children
alone that struggle! Because by picking on these children you encourage bullying towards them. If I were a school teacher, I would invite Parents/Grandparents/Guardians etc into the school to read with their children. And allow children to have time at home to relax. There are far too many mental health problems caused by pressure, stress and bullying.
Encourage your children to do what they are good at! Our Melody used to make fun child and family friendly Art and Craft videos. We used a fake name ... Little Snowflake and Snowdrop to protect her identity when she was in School.

I was taught ITA English TWADDLE in State School. A backward Alien language that made no sense at all. It was like learning a foreign language like German first, as an English Speaker.
