FREE FAIRY PARTY

Free fairy party. So what's the catch? All I ask for in return is a little video of the fairy party event that I can use for promoting the OOAK Butterfly Lullaby Parties Worldwide. Children's names and their identity/location will not be disclosed for security reasons. Feel free to wear fairy masks at your party.

You will receive the following:

BUTTERFLY LULLABY FAIRY PARTY

1. Digital image of the scroll from the fairy book. Print off, stick to cardboard or laminate.Cut into eight pieces and hide in different places for the children to find and piece together.)

2. Short skeleton version (Less than 3 minutes) of the Butterfly Lullaby story with pictures and music.
Stop the story half way through when the children are asked to find the scroll.
3. You send us a picture by email of your Birthday Child holding out their hand
and the Butterfly Lullaby fairies do the rest. Your image will be returned by email with
one of the Butterfly Lullaby fairies sitting on your child's hand.
All I ask in return is a little promotional video of the event to be sent to me to use to promote the fairy parties worldwide. The party package is totally free.
Hopefully one day there will be a beautiful Butterfly Lullaby Musical celebrated in different languages:

Alice White Rabbit Face Painting

ALICE WHITE RABBIT FACE PAINTING

I was going to make my own white face paint from an article I found on Google (See end of blog.) But luck would have it, I managed to find some white face paint in my make-up box. I used my black eyeliner pencil to outline the eyeglass and gold eye shadow for the eyeglass chain. For the pink eyes and nose I used a light pink glossy lipstick.

WHITE RABBIT CLOCK

For the White Rabbits clock I drew round a saucepan on paper. Drew the numbers on with thick black pen and stuck it to card using a glue stick. I left a space around the clock approximately 5 cm so I could paint the clock face gold. Then I cut out strips of foam for the chain and stapled them together. We won best theme at the carnival this year, so it was well worth the effort. And more importantly my daughter enjoyed herself!

WHITE RABBIT COSTUME

I literally threw this costume together. The hat is one I used in my fairy book for Prince Stinger. I cut the white bunny mask in two, but kept the elastic on the mask so it stayed on the hat. Then I cut some blue fabric and tied it round the hat and also made a matching blue scarf. The waistcoat is one I used in my fairy book Butterfly Lullaby for Woowee the fairy. The white t-shirt and leggings were something we already had.

More photographs of the White Rabbit.

Here is Woowee in the blue waistcoat I made for my Butterfly Lullaby story book.

And here is Prince Stingers famous top hat. My daughter has started a story called Butterfly Lullaby Christmas, which tells the story of how Prince Stinger became so evil and the secrets of the top hat.

Fairies are real original photographic proof

Fairies are real, original photographic proof! I always remember my father (Step Dad) telling me his brother had real photographs of fairies, but I never got to see them as a child. This week I was sent this wonderful Antique Roadshow video from You Tube by a friend of mine and I found it totally fascinating. The daughter of  Frances Griffiths (One of the girls who took the original photographs back in the 1920's of the Cottingley Fairies) said her Mother to her dying day admitted some of the pictures were fake, but one was 100% real!
If you scroll to the end of this video you will see the amazing two images of see-through fairies. There is no way on this earth these could have been faked as you can see the grass behind their wings etc and in those days there was no Photoshop to manipulate the image. Her mother said she could see misty objects and took a snap shot approximately 3ft away. When they got the photograph back from London they saw the images of fairies. How wonderful! Please share your fairy stories if you have any.

I wonder what the Cottingley Fairies would make of the Butterfly Lullaby fairies?

I do believe, do you?

Singing book reviews

Singing book reviews by Snowdrop (Otherwise known as Little Snowflake.) My little girl used to hate reading, so hearing her sing stories is just one huge musical adventure. I hope other people, especially children will enjoy her videos. Any positive comments on You Tube are most welcome and please feel free to share your videos with us. http://www.youtube.com/user/ButterflyLullabyLtd

My daughter insisted on reading this book. And I have to say it has really helped her reading skills as she has pushed herself to learn words that before she was frightened to attempt.
