Lagoona Blue sings 3 x table

Lagoona Blue sings 3 x table song (my daughters voice.) My daughter hates maths and finds it hard, so I tried to make it fun by getting her to sing her 3 times table bit by bit. I wonder if she listened to this at night on her MP3 player if she would remember it?

Spongebob turns purple

Spongebob turns purple. Look what Mummy (Mom) got for Christmas from her darling daughter. Yes it is a handmade OOAK Purple Spongebob and "NO" I am not sharing it with her father. After all I am her biggest fan and just love all her drawings and art and craft stuff. I proudly stuck Spongebob onto the lounge wall, just glanced over and it had fallen down between the radiator. Well I guess that is sponges for you. Take a look at her video on how to make Spongebob out of a washing up sponge or two. How she just cuts the shapes out with no template is beyond me!

Google Homeschool Learn and Earn

Google Homeschool is in my opinion the only hope children and struggling single mothers have of a better and brighter future. I have received two cheques from Google for my blog and videos so I know it works. My daughter has recently created her own blog, which she wants to earn money from using Google adverts on her videos and blogs, monitored by Mummy of course. She also wants to sell her original children's stories and songs. Imagine a child friendly video chart, which is just about the voice and song and a shop which actually allows you to earn money instead of ripping you off when you sell old and new items. I believe in Google as they have been the only positive thing on the Internet for me!

Out of work teachers could really benefit from this website by creating tutorial videos and get paid from adverts.

Some children find school stressful because there are teachers that are under great pressure to pass school checks by Councils and Governments. Sadly this is transferred to children that struggle in school and things need to change. Bullying in schools needs to be taken seriously as it can affect a child's mental health very badly. My daughter was picked on for being small in height compared to children her age. Her asthma cough was made fun of so much so that she went off to cry in the toilets, and these children were meant to be her friends! But worst of all she has been made to feel worthless and stupid by two teachers because they were under pressure. This is what maths did to my little girl in school. Here is her original maths rap and how it made her feel. The teacher made her say her times tables out loud in class, knowing full well she could not do it, the children all made fun of her. One day she will tell her story and grown ups will listen!

This is Homeschool maths! No bullying and making fun of her!

I have just sent Google a letter so I really hope that they will give my Homeschool Learn and Earn ideas a go. Google can make our world better, I truly believe that because with them freedom of speech exists, and they know how to share by giving Mothers like me an opportunity to earn from home so I can one day earn enough to be with my child. Because guess what? My daughter wants Mummy at home!

My daughter is amazing when it comes to creating art and craft videos. I can see a bright career for her and other children, because every child deserves a chance to shine! Why should children that have parents that struggle on a low income be punished by not showing what they do best?

Children that are good at Maths could share their videos, history, science etc. My daughter got her very first art order when her Dad's brother saw her video. How cute!

Why not give children a chance to sell their songs and ebooks. It is a great way to teach them how to manage money and save up for the things they really want in life without going into the red.

I have been bullied to the extreme for Homeschooling my little girl. Some mothers have been mean and evil, not giving a second thought to my little girl and what she wants. When I worked in the school canteen she would ask me "Mummy I wish you could teach me!" I know I am not a teacher but tell me what is worse a child that suffers from bad anxiety because of bullying or a child that learns what she needs to know to get a job. I know if we can build a team of Homeschoolers that work together we can help build a better future for our children. Here are some characters she drew to help me learn Welsh. I turned this idea into a competition, sadly the people in power so far have not been very forthcoming when it comes to helping Mothers earn from home so they can be with their children.

Since homeschooling my daughters reading has improved immensely. She used to hate to read out loud in class, and who can blame her! Not something any child should be forced to do.

I do not blame schools because I have talked to many teachers who now hate teaching because of the school checks and how it forces them to try and get all children to learn at the same level.
One teacher told me "I'm stressed out," that was when I approached him about taking the pressure off my child. But I want to thank the teachers that understood my daughter and allowed her to shine. Her headmaster was amazing and I was so proud when he asked her to join the choir. This is my daughter singing for the first time in school because her then teacher understood what she was good at and promoted it:

I was scared of homeschooling because I did not feel qualified. But at the end of the day we as parents homeschool all the time. Noticed how much homework they get and who is there to help them? "Us parents, that's who!"

Well Happy New Year everyone and lets share our experiences and try and make our children's future better and brighter than our own! Give children a voice to speak out with the Homeschool child council. And remember there are many dyslexic people in the world that have been successful. I left school with not one qualifications because I was off a lot with asthma and suffered dyslexia, but that did not stop me getting a good job. I taught myself to type and made it all the way to Managing Directors PA for an architectural firm in London. And I have had three mortgages through sheer hard work! One teacher told me that I am the most intelligent women she knows because I see things for what they are and how we can change it! Google can make it happen, you just have to believe!

Free Christmas toy stocking pattern & sack

Free Christmas toy stocking pattern and sack. Ideal for toys like Sylvanian families, Tatty teddies, Monster High, Bratz and Barbie dolls.

Just click on the pattern below with the right side of the mouse and select "Save image as" to your hard-drive. Print on A4 paper. If you want to use the "S" on the small Christmas stocking as a template, get some grease proof paper from the kitchen, trace round it. Pin it to the toy stocking once you have cut it out and sew round using running stitch. See video below re embroidery techniques.

Basic embroidery lesson from another You Tube user.

Penguin cup draw and paint

Hand-painted penguin cup. First my little girl drew the design with permanent pens. Then I painted over it. She could have painted it herself, but was busy painting Santa's cup. I just love this cute design and feel grateful that she gave me this cup for Christmas. Happy Mummy!

My daughter was given this lovely painting kit for Christmas. We tried to create some cups a few years ago using permanent markers, but they do not give the same effect. You get a lot of paint so it is a shame to waste it! Why don't you go and buy some plain cups and create some original designs too. Kids just love this stuff, especially if it means they get time with Mummy doing something fun.

Best family Christmas present is ...

Best family Christmas present is love and understanding. Not being forced to partake in buying presents for everyone when you are financially struggling. There is nothing worse than being made to feel you have to buy presents for people because it is expected of you.

BIG THANK YOU TO MY FAMILY

I want to send a big thank you to my Family for not expecting me to buy presents each year because of tradition. Presents used to seem so important to me when I was younger. Life has taught me that people are the ones that matter and that there is a serious need for us all to try and change our materialistic world into a kinder one.

If you know anyone in your family that is financially struggling, tell them presents are not important and that it is ok to just buy for their own children and leave the worrying for another day.

I enjoy Christmas more these days with no presents for myself around the tree, because it has taught me the true value of Christmas and that is real love and compassion. And to be thankful for what we already have in each other.

P.S. Thank you Mum, Dad, Louise and Nan for the money you sent, this will help me pay for my little girls presents as she deserves to smile on Christmas morning. To all the struggling Mothers in the world, remember you are not alone and teamwork is the only way to move ahead so get in contact through Google+. Our little girls deserve a better future!

Make Christmas Thank You Postcards

Make Christmas Thank You Postcards for less! High quality blank postcards for only 30p each when you buy direct through me. Less in bulk!

My daughter is an amazing little artist. All these images are based on her original drawings, which you can see in pencil. I recreated all the images as Postcard designs and made embellishments out of friendly plastic, she of couse instructed me on which colours to use!

Christmas Snow Girl

This is a great Christmas craft for Children as it teaches them to be thankful for everything they get, it is always polite to write and say thank you to family and friends! I drew her image on plain white paper and used her watercolour pencils to colour them in. Outlined the image with a black pen, cut it out and stuck it to the postcard using a glue stick. You can of course take a good quality image and reproduce the drawings by getting them printed on 4x6 inch photo paper and sticking them to the postcard. Gives them a lovely professional finish. Not all Photo printing services print the exact size so beware!

Months in a year - Homeschool

I love this piece of work my little girl created. She has written down all the months in a year and how many days by each month. We also included the seasons. Shame the lighting is so dull in the house, perhaps Santa will drop off Mummy a scanner for Christmas?

Christmas Maths Homeschool

CHRISTMAS MATHS - HOMESCHOOL

My little girl hates maths! I thought to myself "How am I going to make maths fun?" Christmas cheques arrived in the post this morning and there was my answer. I got her to add up all the money she received from family for Christmas and deduct what she had already spent.

One big problem, she wanted to buy the Sylvanian Campervan that I had already wrapped up for Christmas. I ended up letting her buy it off me with some of the Christmas money and replacing it with something else (hopefully she will not try and buy this item too!) Then I got her to search the internet for things she wanted to buy and list them down, working out if she could afford to buy them or not.

Maths made fun with shopping for toys!

Your pictures can sing child blog

Your pictures can sing child blog. Little Snowflake, now known as Snowdrop begged me to start a blog for her and I love the name "Your pictures can sing!" The Internet is the only free platform for children to shine when parents cannot afford stage school. Also it is a great way to earn pocket money to buy toys through Google adverts. What a business head my daughter has on her shoulders. Of course everything is monitored through Mummy and she does not have access to Email, Facebook, Twitter or You Tube etc.

Snowdrop's "Your Pictures can sing song"

She said she is not happy with the song so will be redoing the song Your Pictures can sing!

Here is Snowdrops latest version of her song "Your pictures can sing!" She also talks about her very own blog, which is monitored by Mummy. My daughter is so excited about earning her own money to buy more toys and hopefully one day do competitions if she can get Googles support to set up a Homeschool network to earn and learn! Her dream is to create an album like Daddy and sell it as a download and also sell Ebooks for arts and crafts. Not to mention her stories too! Imagine another way of learning and a career with the Internet away from bullying!

After watching this video her Uncle ordered a drawing from her based on the Tatty Teddy images she had drawn here on this video!

My daughter wants to write on her blog everyday as part of her school project. Seeing as she will be learning to spell as she types I think it is a great idea. She will of course still be using different websites for learning games like the www.bbc.co.uk/schools and www.primaryresourses.co.uk. Yesterday she did really well with her subtraction, especially as Maths is one subject she is not keen on.

Child blog earn pocket money

Child blog and earn pocket money. My little girl (Little Snowflake) asked me to set up her own blog so she can earn pocket money from adverts through Google. I have discussed security with her and the reason why she cannot have a Facebook account and You Tube account like some of her friends and thankfully she is very street wise and tells me everything! Children deserve a place to shine especially when mothers cannot afford stage school if they want to go. Here is my daughter singing at school for the first time and the headmaster begging her to join the choir. Some children just enjoy entertaining and the Internet gives them that free platform, just a shame it is not better set up for children. I think I need to have a talk to an MP so they can set up something which is child safe with Google so children that have families that struggle financially get a chance to shine if they want to!

You can hear in my daughters voice that she just loves creating art and craft videos!

She created this video down in Weymouth I think?

Blogging would be a great Home School project for her to improve her writing skills and work out her maths of how much she earns each month. It is a brilliant idea, we just need a safe platform! Builder Bear PJS OOAK handmade

Builder Bear PJS OOAK Handmade by Sharon J. Bainbridge

When your little girl is feeling sad because life has a way of trying to knock you down. Some friends can let you down, but you can always depend on Builder Bear and Mummy to brighten your day. My cousin and Jodie her daughter brought my little girl this gorgeous bunny builder bear last Christmas. She adores it! So I decided to make her some Builder Bear PJ's from the left over material from my daughters all in one cow PJ's. I had to buy age 13, which were far too big for her and adjusted them to fit. The remaining material came in handy as now they have matching material PJ's.

Builder Bear Costumes I made for her last Christmas

My favourite Builder Bear PJ's I made are these ones:

Home School Swansea

Home School Swansea. Today I found out that approximately 51 children are Home schooled in Swansea, Wales. It is so important to listen to children, my little girl suffered from bullying about her small height, asthma cough and was told she was too slow at answering questions (and many other incidents before that.) Say no to bullying! Such a shame as last term she had a lovely teacher that understood learning pressures put on children can cause anxiety and kept school fun for her! She sang for the first time ever and her Headmaster begged her to join the choir! Lovely school, and if my little girl was not copying and did not struggle at school I am sure things could have been different.

Today we celebrated because my daughter has been copying at school for a long, long time in the fear of being kept in through her break time. The opticians picked up on dyslexia, but there is no way I can afford a £300-500 test. It is so sad the way people judge others because of dyslexia and how they try to bully. I was told today "How can you teach your child if you have dyslexia?" I replied "I may have dyslexia but I am not thick! And did manage to work my way up from reception to Managing Directors secretary!" You would not believe some nasty mothers and how they go out of their way to make life difficult for Mothers that home school. They do not give a second thought to the pain your child has been through because of bullying! On the upside here is my little girls song about how she proved her old teacher wrong that told her she was too slow and could not read the book Divine Freaks because the words were too difficult! She can read this book now because she is Home Schooled and has made great progress in just a few months.

People that put Home Schooling down have to answer the question "Is it better that a child copies and suffers from anxiety in school bullied by children and teachers who are under pressure to pass the school checks" or is it better that children enjoy their childhood and learn at their own pace? No one should put up with bullying, something sadly that never seems to be tackled! I hope to get my daughters reading and writing skills up to scratch and get her back into a school in England. That is the goal, what we need is a little luck! No child should suffer from bullying! I would never blame the school for bullying as it happens everywhere, but I think it is time we taught all children just how important it is to treat others equally and force children to apologise in Assembly if they try to bully others so kids are taught that they cannot get away with it. Same with grown ups!

Butterfly Lullaby Christmas

Butterfly Lullaby Christmas. Over a week ago my little girl said to me "Mummy I have a great story idea for you! How about Butterfly Lullaby Christmas!" Little Snowflake has a gift for creating songs and stories on the spot, so I sat down with her on the carpet with the camcorder to hand while she took me on a magical journey based on the characters from my original story Butterfly Lullaby with a Christmas twist.

Here is part of my original Butterfly Lullaby fairy story where Feathers the wishing well fairy travels back through time:

My friend visited us today and heard my little girl make up three songs on the spot, one after another and she said "Your daughter has a gift! Could you not get a Grant to send her to stage school?" Sadly I have tried and in he UK so far Britain's favourite word is "NO!" But never mind ah as there is always Google and America! The USA opens the doors to creative people like me as they are far less judgemental!

I will be back with some crazy talk animations by Little Snowflake with her original songs!

Children's right to shine online

Children's rights to shine online safely. Why? Because children have the right to shine, feel good and confident about themselves, especially when some Mothers can be so competitive. I look back on my daughters first reading books and some Mothers competing against one another to have the brightest child in the class. It is horrible! And puts pressure on all the children that struggle in school! I was asked once who is the prettiest child? Yours or mine? All little girls are beautiful in their own right and I truly believe true beauty is in the heart and not on the outside. I am a total alien when it comes to Western Culture, I hate it!

"Mummy have you got a washing up sponge I can have?" My daughter is a huge Spongebob fan, just take a look at the Little and Big Spongebob characters she created all on her own using nothing but sponges and craft foam! The way she cut out all the shapes with no patterns still amazes me. All children are good at different things and I want my little girl to know that she has talent and not to let anyone tell her any different!

My daughter asked me to Home School her. Sadly in the UK many British people do not understand that bullying can cause serious anxiety so it is something that must not be ignored. We created these videos over the weekend and you can hear for yourself she is a happy little girl who adores arts, crafts and singing! Family is everything to her and makes her happy. It is my job as a Mother to make her happy and always put her before my own needs! Hopefully one day when she is older she will say good job Mum!

Make Spongebob characters using sponges

Make Spongebob characters using sponges for washing up. Little Snowflake asked me "Mummy have you got any sponges?" I replied only the washing up sponge, she said "That will do!" See the Little Spongebob character the big Spongebob is holding, well she made that out of one of those green scouring pads. She cut off the green bit on the back and used craft foam to add the features. I will upload the video on how to make the big Spongebob this week. I was amazed at how she just cut out the shapes without even measuring them and put the whole thing together by herself. She just loves creating art and craft videos for children!

Here is a short video of the Little Spongebob character she made from a scouring pad!

Take a look at Squidward from Spongebob, Isn't he great. All you got to do is cut, cut, cut!

I wished some people put all their negative energy into something positive like Little Snowflake and I, instead of being mean and nasty say "Wow what a talented little girl who deserves sponsorship and support to do what she loves best!" I will upload the how to make the big Spongebob character out of yellow washing up sponges and foam later this week! These were made over the weekend and not in Home School!

Spongebob drawing by Little Snowflake

Spongebob drawing by Little Snowflake. My little girl is a huge fan of Spongebob. Last night she drew this picture whilst watching the programme and I just had to blog about it. I think is is really cute the way the "a" is missing in square! Another word to learn in Home School! If you read this one day sweetie I just want to let you know that Mummy is well impressed with how your spelling has improved. Good job!

My arty family drawing

My arty family drawing by Little Snowflake. This year my little girl drew this drawing of us as a family. I love it! I painted her face with a bumblebee, she painted Daddy's face with a dragon and I was the butterfly, also painted by my little girl. That day was a fun day full of laughter in the sun and as you can see she captured us perfectly!

If you asked my little girl what is the most important thing to her in the world she will reply "FAMILY" and having Mummy and Daddy together. Every child wants to feel safe and secure. Listen to her giggle when we used a Magic Milk You Tube project for Home School.

I keep a daily diary of all the English (Reading record,) Maths and other subjects we do during the week for Home School and my little girl has her own folder with different sections for all her subjects! She said to me "Mummy thank you for being their for me, as some mothers are too selfish to put their children first!" What a beautiful thing to say and what a lucky Mummy I am to have such a caring and talented little girl. I told her Mummy was never bullied at school or through life as a child so why should you put up with it! If she is happy then I am happy and I do not believe my needs should be equal to hers. She is far more important than me, which sadly Western Culture does not understand as it has become very selfish.
