Build a bear thank you cards scrapbook postcard

With Christmas over we all have some thank you cards to post off. And this is a must for our children to teach them  good values in life. We were never made to write thank you cards but when I turned 12 years old my Auntie mentioned how disappointed she was that we did not send her a thank you card for our presents. And since that day I have never looked back and make sure my little one grows up with real values as it is something people really appreciated, and makes children realise that money does not grow on trees and they need to be thankful for every gift they receive.

Here are three little builder bear costumes I made for my little girls bunny rabbit toy which Jodie her cousin brought her for Christmas. I wonder which scrapbook postcard I should send to her?

If you would like to create your very own thank you scrapbook postcards see details below. I am currently creating a scrapbook postcard family tree album and sent copies to my Mum for her birthday which she loved. Beautiful gift which does not break the bank:

Flu jab gave me flu for Christmas

This has to be the worst Christmas ever, except for watching my little girl open up her presents and seeing that lovely magical sparkle in her eye and her pure belief in Father Christmas.

You read everywhere that the flu jab cannot give you flu. Well we had the flu jab around October/November and have both been very ill, thankfully my little girl has a better immune system than me and has not been as bad. The week before Christmas I found myself coming home from work and just crashing out and falling asleep with no energy to do anything. Then the Wednesday before Christmas I felt awful, I forced myself to go to work. But the following day I could not move and had to call in sick, I had all the flu symptom's and just could not move. Worse of all it affected my breathing as I have asthma. Between myself and my little girl we have got through two Ventolin Inhalers between us in a week. All I have done is sleep, sleep, sleep not a lot of fun for my little one that's for sure. What a total waste of Christmas Holiday. But hey ho it could be worse at least we are at home and not in hospital like some poor people. I think next year I will be saying no to the flu jab and yes to doing more exercise and eating much more fruit and veg.

My little girl loves fresh orange and apple juice. You cannot buy this in the supermarket. Freshly squeezed apple and orange juice is delicious and of course extremely good for you. And a great way for you to get your children to have more fruit. I purchased the Breville Juicer about five years ago and used to use it more when she was little. But now I think I will use it every week to keep us fit and healthy.

When searching the Internet for information on the flu jab I came across this very interesting article that mentions the flu jab effects your memory.

http://stevemark122000.hubpages.com/hub/The-Truth-About-the-Flu-Vaccine

Have you been ill after having the flu jab? Last year we did not get flu so I guess it is hit or miss. Only had flu three times in my life so that is no bad going. I usually write on my blog every day but have just not had the energy to do so. After being ill for so long it is nice to see my Google Blog again and I look forward to feeling better. One thing about being ill is that the guilt of not being able to do things with my little girl forced me to create her some little costumes for her build a bear bunny. I will post them on her Little Snowflake Blog. She adores this bunny as it is from Jodie her Cousin who has Cystic Fibrosis. Now I feel lucky that I do not have that illness.

Today I am proud to be British

Today I am very proud to be British because even though the Labour party did nothing about my complaint about the Internet and how dangerous it is for children and family values, David Cameron from the Conservatives has stepped up to the mark.

Thank you David Cameron, you are a father to be proud of! I have been wanting to ban fathers day because in my view a father should protect their little girls. That means fighting the Internet and bringing back family values. I am so proud of you Mr Cameron, thank you and you have made my Christmas!

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/tomchiversscience/100110877/david-camerons-porn-block-pledge-unclear-unnecessary-and-completely-unworkable/

I now have faith in our Government and that my little girls nightmare will soon be a thing of the past. Mummy will be able to trade and give her the damp free house she so deserves!

I feel so lucky because my little girl tells me she loves me more than 100 times a day. Yesterday she said I was the best Mum in the Universe. Motherhood has made me a better person and I look forward to her growing up and one day meeting a man that truly loves her for her as she brightens my life every day.

Looking forward to making her little dream come true. Winter the Dolphin wish us luck as she really wants to meet you!

Pretty song Nicole Scherzinger don't waste your life

I adore Nicole Scherzinger's new song Pretty, because you will never be good enough for some men, they are always looking for the next best thing and love to cheat. Nicole you are beautiful! I cannot wait for women singers to put their foot down with men in the pop industry and say "I have talent so I do not need to dress the way you want me to!"

I wasted my youth trying to be something I was not. The never ending diets and trying so hard to be pretty enough to be wanted and loved. They say youth is wasted on the young. Well I will be giving my little girl lots of advice to make sure she does not make the same mistakes as Mummy. The below photo is of me when I was 19 years old. The choice was do you want to be a model or work in the office, I chose office work as I was not dumb enough to think modelling for a man would not entail losing your dignity.

I may not be rich, but I have been blessed with a gorgeous little girl who loves her Mummy for who she is. Now I do not care about what I look like as being a Mum is the best gift of all. My scrapbook postcard!

Paris Jackson masks were to protect her

Paris Jackson felt the masks she wore were silly but she realises it was there to protect her. And I have to say after four years of Cyber Bullying on the Internet and coming across hateful people that do not respect family values, women or children, I do not blame Michael Jackson one little bit. Some people really need to wake up around them and see the world for what it really is and fight for change for our children's sake. The amount of hateful things that have been done to me to stop me trading x that by 1000 hate mails to Michael Jackson you really cannot blame the man at all. See the little girl in the video below, well she was called a total s-ut. There are some very sick and evil people in this world and in my view not enough is being done about it.

The Internet is so capable of becoming family friendly and moving things that are not geared towards children and helping them keep their Mummy and Daddy together by taking adult sites away and moving them elsewhere to a paid for subscription only service. That way Mummy's have a say in what comes into their family home, the same should be for Sky TV etc as I am sick of seeing all these adult and chat sites advertised when you flick channels. It is all about making money and no family values. Our poor children are suffering because of it and some adults have become far too selfish thinking only of themselves.

If you want to fight verbally for change and bring back family values, get in contact on Facebook:

Google Little Snowflakes Christmas Wish for Mummy

Dear Google

Last night my little girl broke down in tears. She said Mummy you are always on the computer I want you to spend time with me. And she is right I waste some much time fighting for justice when it should already be in place. Family values should be at the very top of the list, instead of way down at the bottom. When she gets older I hope she never has to go through the sheer hell I have had to endure for simple little things called justice and humanity. Google you have the power to change this little girls life and make it better. Please grant her Christmas wish and stop the bullies and help her to reach all her dreams.

I have had to fight my whole life from simply breathing with asthma, to having to grow up too quickly because my poor Mum has been ill all my life. I listen to my little girl cough and wheeze every day with asthma because Mummy cannot earn a decent living thanks to selfish, nasty, greedy people on the Internet that have made it impossible for me to trade. In a compassionate world this Mummy would get help to get rid of the Butterfly Lullaby books without getting ripped off as I have been, and the damp would be gone. We could sleep easy knowing that we had raised that money for Jodie in the hope of a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. And Little Snowflake would have her own little art room and Mummy could relax and feel happy. Now these idiots are using the word Little Snowflake for things they should not as they know it blocks my little girls work to any parental site.

Little Snowflake does not go to Stage School like her friends, because Mummy is earning a rubbish salary which is less than a man, so she can be with her child. I don't want to waste any more time fighting for justice when justice should firmly be in place. Google and You Tube give children a platform to perform, which is so important because Stage School is expensive and when Mummy's like me get no support or help this is the only thing that offers a glimmer of  hope.

I feel that our family has seriously been to hell and back. But everything happens for a reason. I cannot ignore these things and we have to make changes so our children grow up to a better, brighter future where people do not get away with destroying children's lives and they are held accountable and made to financially pay for all the grief they cause. This is the new world I am aiming for. But I will have to fight for that when Little Snowflake is fast asleep because this Mummy wants to be with her child.

My little girl wants to see Winter the Dolphin, as a family we have the talent to get her there, but this can only happen when the Internet protects us and stops people ripping us off and is kinder to children.

Google you have supported me with all my work on line, I need you to protect me and help me earn on the Internet to make my little girls dreams come true. Please make this possible as no little girl should have to live in a horrible damp house with Asthma.

Christmas no presents just love

This Christmas I am happy to sit round the tree and expect no presents because my true gift is my little girl. I don't want to get further in debt so no I want nothing at all, except one thing from the UK Government and that is JUSTICE! My Nan always said we had bad blood in our family because of the amount of horrible bad luck. The old Government treated my Nan so badly as a child and now my little girl is going through near enough the same thing because some people in this world put money before children.

Compassion! Is this a word lost in our world. Teamwork? For me as a women that is not brainwashed by our society and someone that does not idolise rich and famous people because they are just human beings. Even though through life I have had some horrible things sent my way, I am still standing and they have taught me that changes have to be made in the UK for a better and more equal playing field for all our people. The rich man made Government may be good at some things, but when it comes to humanity and our children men are not capable of putting children first. And neither are some women that are rich or those that have not given life to a human being. There is nothing so special than Motherhood. I hope one day people will open their hearts and start to help one another in life instead of standing back and saying what can we do.

My little girl wears a mask because of horrible nasty men that have no respect for children or women. She lives in a horrible damp house and I listen to her cough and wheeze every single day. I have tried so damn hard to give her a decent life but rich, and selfish greedy men get in my way. But this Mummy will never give up because my little girl is the most important thing in my world. I don't paint my nails, go to the hairdressers and dream about having time on my own. I love being around her and she makes me smile. She healed my heart when it was broken. My darling daughter you are my life time gift I am so lucky to have you. Thank you God for giving me something as pure and sweet as the love of a child. Some men can let you down buy a child's love is something you can hold onto forever!

Lastly I want to say thank you to my partner for changing for me. People make excuses and say you should not expect someone to change. I say to these people the way some men treat women is not good and women need to demand respect. Never accept less as if he truly loves you and does not want to lose you he will change and fight for his child's future happiness. And the Government will put a stop to adult sites that destroy family values and stop Mummy's like me from trading, because children are our future.

Little Santa scrapbook image competition My Memories

Free Christmas Competition. I just love the Family Album digital scrapbook templates created by My Memories. Most of my photographs have been sitting on my computer. But now I am creating something special for my Mum's birthday and for my little girl so we have a family tree book to treasure forever. The below photo is my little girls first Christmas. That was before I did my photography course. I have added a snowman or should I say snow-girl image and coloured it brown. Also added an old drawing she did of a rabbit in the snow, which is also coloured brown to match in with the theme.

I don't know about you but I love Victorian images. And the one below is based on an old Victorian image with a little bit of Butterfly Lullaby thrown in.

Here are some of my other fantasy fairy portraits and Victorian style images:

If you would like to join the Christmas Scrapbook competition then please read my previous blog below:

You could end up with a beautiful personalised image like one of the above. Wow what a personalised Christmas card that would make for your family!

Scrapbook family tree my memories family album template $5.99

I LOVE MY MEMORIES TEMPLATES
FAMILY ALBUM

It is my Mum's birthday coming up and I thought it would be fantastic if I could create her a beautiful book with all our family photos. And the amazing thing is that I have only just received old photos of my Nan and her parents by email from my Mum's cousin last month all thanks to Google
and You Tube.

Why don't you dig out some old baby photos and see just how much your children looked like you as a baby. Makes a very sweet layout to treasure forever in the family tree album.

The above photos are of my little girl when she was around 3 years old. I used to love dressing her up and taking photos. I even won a local photography competition with the top photo and the cover on my fairy book Butterfly Lullaby. It was a real honour when my Digital Photography teacher asked me to show him some tricks when creating fairy and fantasy portraits.

My lovely Nan, Sybil Stanley Myles died feeling ugly because of the colour of her skin. Sadly she had a tough time with racists. Even Grandmother LeFevre blamed her mother below, Burmese girl, for her grandchildren having dark skin. But just because Grandmother LeFevre had a problem with dark skinned people that does not mean that all her family did. Hopefully one day the pieces will all fit and I will be able to put the ghosts to rest. My Nan was beautiful inside and out and as you can see she got her good looks from her Burmese Mother below, my Great Grandmother.

If you love the above family album templates as much as I do go to http://www.mymemories.com/

Check out my previous blog for the free software and photo competition!

Free scrapbook software memories every photo tells a story

Every photo tells it's own very unique story, personal to you and your family. It is so important you hold onto these memories for your future families to share. I wished I had sat down with my Nan and found out all about her very sad childhood.  Her story is one very similar to the film the Little Princess starring Shirley Temple as an orphan. Sadly she was not the only one to suffer, her brothers did too and for Nan there was no happy ending as she died feeling ugly because she was tanned skinned. It is quite strange that I am so white I burn in the sun and sometimes feel ashamed to be white and English because racist people cause much pain. Thanks to the Internet I have found my Mum's cousin and other people that are helping me piece my Nan's past history together like a puzzle, so although our dear Nan is gone, she will never ever be forgotten.

Through http://www.mymemories.com/ I want to create memories for my little girl to treasure and never lose.

The exciting news is My Memories scrap booking have chosen me to give away some free things to my readers. Firstly I want to share their video with you:

SCRAPBOOK COMPETITION - FREE STUFF

I will be running a competition for best family layout with an interesting tale to tell, because every photo tells a story! And I want to learn about my readers happy or sad. It is all good!

The winner, will be getting a free digital fantasy image from me, created by using one of their photographs. I have created images for the Enchanted Manor who have been on TV four times now. And just look at this gorgeous butterfly portrait I created based on famous fairy artist Josephine Wall's painting Up and Away, in the hope to save our school butterfly meadow. Robin Stevens who has over 30 years in children's TV is on my website reading one of my stories called Colour me a fairies wish. Even actor Michael Sheen has sent our school a letter of support which ended up in the local paper as well as artists Josephine Walls card.

FREE PERSONALISED FAIRY FANTASY IMAGE WITH YOUR PHOTO

Below are some other examples of my fairy and fantasy portraits, which you can have personalised with your child's photo or even your own. The angel one is sweet, but I do love the Christmas image as I cut out the background to make it look more like a studio portrait photo and it works well.

FAMILY ALBUM TEMPLATE - (MUM IS GOING TO BE SO IMPRESSED!)

I have just had the most amazing fun creating the image below using the digital scrapbook template called  family album  from My Memories Family Templates and cannot wait to finish the rest for a special book for my lovely Mum's birthday.

Only recently have I received the above images of my Great Nan and Grandad, thanks to the wonders of Google and it's search engines. These are my Nan's parents that both sadly died when she was only 4 years old. The Internet helps you find people you thought you had lost forever and recover lost memories. Thank you Google and My Memories for allowing me to create this beautiful image, which I will proudly share with all my family.

MY MEMORIES SUITE SCRAPBOOK SOFTWARE

The winner, if I have read this right, gets to use the My Memories digital scrap booking software for free! Other readers and runners up will get $10 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store - $20 value!

The thing I adore about digital scrap booking is that it is cheap and you can create anything with a little imagination and love. My friend used to teach scrap booking and I did enjoy the paper side of it, although I found the cost difficult to keep up with as we have had a lot of financial bad luck. And it took a lot of time, which as a Mum is like gold dust. You can always add things to your digital layout to give it that handmade effect. Here is one of my layouts with help from my scrapbook friend:

Whoops spelt father wrong in my layout below, it's ok I can fix it as it is digital and will create something better anyway with the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software so I can share it with all my family to treasure Nan's history forever.

My poor Nan suffered as a child and died in agony and from heartache. I have inherited her strength which has kept me strong through really bad times. I hope the family history book I create for my Mum will show her how much Nan loved her and make her see how much she resembles our Nan. Illness is a cruel thing, especially when it comes to the mind.

My Nan's sewing box is worth more than any money!

Add me as a friend on facebook http://www.facebook.com/people/Sharon-J-Bainbridge/595087537

Send me a message when you have added your layout to my little craft group:

And leave a comment below! Hope to share all our wonderful memories together! Don't you just love creative people! Get in touch and message me on my blog and in Facebook and lets get some fun and free stuff - great for Christmas presents!

Well I am off to create that special family history scrapbook for my Mum's birthday present, if I miss the deadline I can always send it as a Christmas present.

Scrapbook remembrance Sunday 13 November 2011 - no riots Daddy

I am going to create a Scrapbook image with a powerful message. Only last Friday night there was a massive teen fight outside our house. My little girl cried is Daddy going to die. Is this the way we are bringing up our children? When are we going to accept that everyone is different and we need to learn to live together and put our children first. My Nan was an orphan, think about it before you go out and destroy your families life and others! Here is a song we wrote with my little girl last Christmas about two orphans:

Even though I am white and burn in the sun, I have experienced race discrimination because I am English. Sadly some people blame all English people for past history when we had nothing whatsoever to do with it. Same as the Germans. I was brought up thinking they were bad people because of media and the history. But in fact they are not all bad people and the German women suffered. Hitler was the bad person and we must remember this and thank God that we had American and English men and women that saved us from a fate worse than death. And I am using God's name because he would be ashamed of all the different religions fighting each other when he teaches love and forgiveness.

Here is my finished Scrapbook image. I wanted to remember my Great Grandad who died in the 1st World War, and my Great Nan who either was murdered or took her own life to save her children from racism and poverty. Sadly her children, my Nan, suffered badly from racists because she was not pure white. Because she was of tanned skin. Her Grandmother did not take her and her brothers when both parents died and they did not receive their fathers army pension. So they were put in different homes, one of which they were treated as slaves and made to eat and sleep in a shed. These were meant to be church people.

If you are white and live in England you are lucky. If you are a different colour you can suffer. Riots do not accomplish anything. They destroy lives and buildings. Women talk things through, some men need to stop fighting and start talking and working things out. Total respect goes to lady leader Aung San Suu Kyi from Burma (Myanmar) she could show the way forward to world peace, if you would only listen!

God bless you Nan, you died feeling ugly because you were made to feel bad for not being 100% English and White. You were and will always be beautiful to me, inside and out.

Actor Michael Sheen backs school field save butterfly meadow and sports field

Firstly I would like to say thank you to Philip Downing and Jane Harris for handing over 600 individual letters of objection to the County Councillor. And to all the Mum's that went round getting everyone to sign the petitions. They have worked extremely hard and deserve a mention.

BBC News article 26 January 2011 - Councils in Wales spend an average £604 less on each pupil compared to councils in England, new figures show. I have been told by many people that English schools get more money than Welsh schools, and Welsh speaking schools get more money than English schools in Wales. I believe all our children should be treated as equals.

The Pontarddulais primary school field is the only one left in the Bont. And it used to be shared with the Welsh school. You only have to look at the Rugby and the fact that English schools are getting paid more than Welsh schools to see this big problem, which already affects children's lives.

If the Council build on the school field it will make it unusable and the children will not be able to have sports on the field as it will water log the rest of the field at the top. My friends have purchased houses in the Bont and all their gardens are flooded due to poor drainage. Not enough land to soak it up.

The Water board have sent a letter to explain that it cannot cope with more houses coming to the Bont and it will result in pipes breaking and it could cause flooding and death.

We need to teach our children the true values of sharing and nature, and to help each other learn the Welsh language by mixing together. My friends husband was Welsh born but because he does not speak Welsh he cannot leave his job and get a new one. Hitler was not a nice man, but German people should not be made to suffer because of his actions. And neither should English speaking people who had nothing to do with what the rich people have done to Wales.

If you would like to see pictures of the fantastic butterflies found on the school butterfly meadow go to the Facebook group HELP SAVE PONTARDDULAIS PRIMARY SCHOOL FIELD

Here is the article in the Evening Post. I hope all the people that worked so hard to try and stop the selling of the field get their names mentioned as all I did was take photographs of butterflies on the field with other Mums and write to Michael Sheen:

I would like to say I have many wonderful Welsh friends and the community in Wales has really welcomed me. But we do need to talk about the differences between England and Wales so our children can grow up with true morals and values. It is good to share!

And of course it goes without mentioning that without Michael Sheen's kind letter of support to our children, this article would probably not have got in the paper. He is so busy like everyone else but he still gave his time to give our children hope. Michael Sheen is an amazing actor and someone the Welsh people must be so proud of. I know I am and I am not Welsh. I don't know that many good men but Michael Sheen I have to say is one of them. Thank you so much!

Children come first - what do you think?

1. Do you put your children first?

2. Are children as resilient as people like to think they are when it comes to their parents splitting up?

3. Did your parents split up? How did it effect you?

4. Did one of your parents cheat on the other? What are your feelings on this?

I don't know any women that have cheated on their partner, but sadly I have come across a lot of cheating men.

There are obviously some good men. My Step Dad is one of them. If you have an amazing husband or partner leave a comment and give us hope that when our children grow up that they will not end up unhappy like some of their mothers.

China has the right idea when it comes to looking after their children! UK is lagging far behind, make British Mothers proud and lets bring back family values for our children's sake.

Track your man with this amazing mobile phone - he is worth it!

On the radio they are saying men need to be more manly. What they really need to do is grow up and stop acting like spoilt, selfish idiots with no family values. Did you know that men are getting away with all sorts of rubbish on the Internet behind your back. Their mobile phones allow them access to all sorts of chat sites with women that should star in the sort of movie you just do not want in your family home.

China have blocked all adult related sites to save family values and protect children! It is time the rest of the world followed, as our children are the ones that suffer from broken relationships destroyed by trust and honour, it is just not good enough! Police told me it is not possible, more like too many men are enjoying treating their women as doormats and having their cake and eating it!

LADIES IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP! IF HE HAS NOTHING TO HIDE THEN HE WILL NOT MIND YOU CHECKING ON HIM AND VISA VERSA!

London Mum's have compassion thank you England

Thank you London Mums Magazine for your compassion and for shinning down some light on my four year nightmare. Teamwork is everything to make our world a better place. I was starting to feel ashamed to be English because of the Rugby and all the politics that goes with it. The Rugby sadly shows how much some Countries hate England and other Countries and that makes me sad because not everyone that is English, German, French etc is bad. And this is not teaching our children morals! You get good and bad people from every nationality and we need to try and leave history behind us and move on. My Nan was punished for being mixed race in England and thankfully times have changed, but there is still room for more love and less hate. I wish I could solve the puzzle of what happened to my Nan's Mum and find her Burmese family.

I certainly inherited my Nan's strength which has kept me off the happy pills. The lady from Myanmar Burma), women leader, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is my hero. She stands up for her people and never gives up. If we had someone like this in the UK, who put love before money, we would get out of this recession.

The one thing I adore about London Mums Magazine website is the drawing on their website, it shows London as multicultural with Mums and their children, mixing together and being kind to each other. Isn't this the world we all want for our children? I know that I do and I want my little girl to grow up being proud to be British and seeing Scotland, Wales and England working together as a team. My little girls school used to share the school field with the Welsh school, adults and politics = no school field and goodbye butterflies. Teamwork should be taught in all schools with the values of sharing and being kind to each other is essential.

This is a painting I did many years ago of how I felt I was trapped in the City on a low wage. A slave to making tea and typing for pennies. My Aunts husband from Pakistan seemed to have lost his way. Money had changed him! Thankfully I left and got to work for a decent English boss, who gave me a chance to shine. The thing is some people do lose their way when it comes to money. It is like some sort of disease. But the lesson is everyone is different so lets stop blaming individual people and give them a chance to shine.

When I started up in business four years ago I never thought in a million years that I would have come across so many heart destroying problems, which sadly has affected my child's life. Because bullies have stopped me trading my little girl has not been able to do the things her friends do. And I have not been able to pay to get her extra help with her reading etc. She went to a friends swimming party yesterday and she was the only one that could not swim, because I could not afford to send her to lessons. As a Mum you feel you have let your child down. Life seems to be just one big competition. I feel like I am in some sort of race and my child is the horse. Same with the reading books. I hate seeing her stressed out, so I encourage her to relax and do the things she enjoys which is art and crafts.

Sorry Wales lost the Rugby to France but well done France

I felt sorry for the girls today in work as they were so looking forward to Wales winning the Rugby this year.

Out of all the women I know in Wales I am probably the only one that is not into sports at all. For me sports is not important! And it reminds me too much of life on how everything is about winning and being the best Country, best person etc. Men are so competitive, some cannot even play a game with their children without winning.

If France wins the Rugby maybe someone will come across this photograph of my Great Grandmother who was part French Burmese and shed some light on our family history. Her name was Winifred Josephine Myles nee Melson.

REAL FAMILY VALUES DO YOU HAVE THEM?

Do you have real family values? What are your family values and how far are you willing to go to protect the ones you love and the children that need protection?

If your child and other children were to lose their school field and butterfly meadow would you put yourself out to try and help them and save it? If you lived in an area where you had different nationalities and it was the last school field in the area, would you try and save it for the children?

If a child loves both it's parents, but the parents do not get along all the time because of different values in life, would you not try harder to make things work and try to change that person so your child can have a happier life? People tell me children are resilient and they bounce back. Where I am sitting I can see a lot of selfish adults who are just thinking about themselves and not the children. In some cases if a partner drinks, takes drugs, is very abusive then yes you have to get out of the relationship if they do not want to seek help and change. There are a lot of parents that cheat and this is not showing children true family values.

My little girl said to me "Mummy, pinky swear you will never leave Daddy." I have been trying to change him for over 10 years. He is not a bad person, but changes have to be made for us to get out of the mess we are in. To be a parent you have to be responsible! I feel that I am getting somewhere now as he is starting to realise that life would be a lot better if we all worked as a team to get our life on track. We have a beautiful world and we need to treasure it and work together to make a happier and brighter life for everyone.

Burma Aung San Suu Kyi give her power to rule the Burmese people

Whilst most British Women say "we can't do anything to change the government, so why try." There is Aung San Suu Kyi a Burmese women to be proud of who has given her life to support the Burmese people and give them back humanity. Has she really spent 30 years of her life trying to save her people. What a wonderful women. Something I would have liked the Queen of England to do for the children that suffer in the UK and need support. If Aung San Suu Kyi had the money and power the Queen has just think what a change she could make in our world. I know she would not sit back quietly with her luxury wealthy life style while the Government and Councils take our school fields and butterfly meadows! Aung San Suu Kyi is a women with morals just like my Great Grandmother and Nan. I am proud to be part Burmese and I hope she will prove to the world that we all need to team up and work together for better future for all children.

The one thing that concerns me is Burma's oil. If there was no oil would Countries offer to help this Country and their people? There is obviously a lot of money to be made in Burma as it is a great tourist attraction. I have not come across one rich and wealthy person with morals so forgive me for being a sceptic. Aung San Suu Kyi please do not trust anyone. Be on your guard and do what is best for your Country. Above all remember people with money find it very hard to want more.

I would like Aung San Suu Kyi to rule the Burmese people and to make sure her people are not brainwashed with European ways. Women that believe in non violence are the true leaders! They think with their brain. Women and Mothers need to start thinking about their children and how society is brainwashing them.

Our children need to go back to old fashioned values and stop dressing and acting like adults. Our Mothers need to put their foot down and tell the Government that they have rights to protect their child from the outside world. That means creating a subscription only service on the Internet for things that are not child friendly. A subscription only service for things on Sky etc that is not child friendly. I do not want my child to ever come across adult sites and chat rooms, this by law should be well hidden from children. And as for page 3 in News papers this shows the lack of respect for women and children and it needs to stop. I was not amused to see workmen in the school canteen with this paper open on page 3. Apart from being disgusted and humiliated. I thought what hope have our children got, all the CRB checks are done but where are peoples morals?

I would like to see British Women and Mothers following in Aung San Suu Kyi footsteps. Showing the world we don't need violence. And as a Mother we have the right to say no to certain things pushed on us. I want to see the Internet change and to have a paid subscription service for adult sites and all that muck. That stuff should be well away from children and Mothers that find it insulting, humiliating and degrading.

I have had a 10 year verbal fight against this sort of stuff. There are people that don't talk to me any more because I stand up for my rights as a Mother and as a women. There have been people that try to bully me to shut up and have stopped me trading. I thought it was the French side that gave me the strength to fight back, but actually is it the Burmese side from my Great Nan and my Nan. Proud to be part Burmese because it stands for something to be proud of. Most British people expect you to put up and shut up. But putting up and shutting up does not bring change. If we do not talk about these problems they will never go away. Well if Aung San Suu Kyi can make changes in her world, I am sure I can make changes in mine. Goodbye Essex girls and hallo family values.

My Great Nan died for her children. She was part Burmese/French.

The above vintage photograph is of my Great Grandmother who died to save her children from poverty. She was Burmese/French and lived in Rangoon where my Nan was born. Nan was made to sleep and eat in a shed because her English Grandparents refused to take their dead son's children because they were mixed race. This sadly is the problem with our world. Good luck Aung San Suu Kyi I hope you get help from a Country that truly supports you and your people and has morals.

THANK YOU GOOGLE FOR PROTECTING MY WORK FROM BAD PEOPLE - GOOGLE AND THE INTERNET GIVES GOOD PEOPLE A VOICE

I believe you have to work at any relationship but sadly all the British people I talk to believe you should walk away. I believe you should put your child first and sadly I have not met anyone else with the same values to date. In the UK if a relationship is difficult you walk away and your children grow up with single parents. If the child is not at risk and loves both parents then my view is that you have to try harder and make it work for your child's sake. This is the same with our world, we all need to try harder for a better future for all children.

My Step Dad is a man I am proud of. If only there were more like him. Maybe there are, it is just that I have not come across many. When my Auntie told him about my Mother's mental illness before marrying her, he said "you are not going to get rid of me that easily." He has stayed with my Mum and been a real farther to us for nearly 40 years. Because of him I got to grow up knowing my Mum is not a bad person because she is ill from mental illness, she is a loving and kind person who has had bad things happen to her, which has effected her mental health. I adore my Mother and Step Farther who I call Dad. My Dad (step Dad) shows true sacrifice and these are the sort of people we need to Govern our world, people with morals.

Robert Hartland Stanley Myles English family history

My Great Grandfarther was English his name was Robert Hartland Stanley Myles. He was born around 1st June 1887 somewhere in London. He married my Nan's Mother Winifred Josephine Melson who then became Winifred Josephine Myles nee Melson on 23rd June 1908. They were married at the Registrars Office Malacca Straits Settlement in Burma.

Nan was born in Rangoon, Burma and her Mother sadly took her own life to save her and brothers from poverty. They were shipped from Burma to England where they were fostered, as the Grandparents did not want mixed race Grandchildren. Sadly as we see all over the world not all church people believe in the same God. They were made to sleep and eat in a shed and treated like servants. Back then the English authorities did not batter an eye lid at their suffering. Thankfully things have sort of changed now. Although there is still a lot of room for change as compassion does not seem to be on the top of our Governments agenda. And there are still a lot of people worldwide that bully others over race, status and what they like to term as intelligence (I prefer to say they are blessed with a good memory.) However, Wales is a Country to be proud of with their amazing free prescription service, which makes sure poor people are not punished. The English Government however do not understand what it is like to struggle financially as they all come from wealthy families, so therefore getting rid of the NHS is something that would not affect them as they can afford private health care and no doubt prefer it.

I got in touch with a person that had really studied the Myles family history and he has not come across my Great Grandad. Looks like the scandal of the mixed marriage was covered up very well! I am proud of my family history as being mixed race makes you more human and less selfish.

Winifred Josephine Myles nee Melson Burmese French from Rangoon Burmah

We are searching for Burmese and French family related to Winifred Josephine Myles nee Melson. As you can see she was a beautiful lady and very elegant with her hat and gloves. Stunning vintage 1900 photograph that we will treasure forever.

My Nan Sybil Stanley Myles was born in Rangoon, Burma. She had two brothers. Sadly when Great Grandad (English) died of an illness that could have been cured if caught in time she took her own life to save her children from poverty. Back in those days mixed race marriages were not accepted in England. Nan suffered from the loss of her Farther and Mother and was put in care with her brothers. The foster parents were church people but obviously did not pray to the God that we do as they made the children sleep and eat in a shed. Can you imagine how hungry and cold they must have been. No wonder Nan suffered with arthritis so badly.

With all the problems in the world I feel very proud of the Burmese people and their strength. I don't think I know of one person that actually believes in fighting verbally for change in the world, which is very sad as we need to think about the world our children live in and protect them all. Every child deserves a decent and happy life no matter what background they come from and to feel safe and secure.

What is the nicest thing ever said to you? I wish you were my Mummy!

What is the nicest and kindest thing ever said to you?

This Friday just gone my friend stayed with us. While we were both sitting with my daughter while she read her Mr Men books, my friend said "I wish you were my Mummy!"

That has got to be the nicest thing ever said to me, apart from my little girl telling me she loves me more!

I wonder if I am the only Mummy that tumble dries their child's clothes for five minutes every morning so they are nice and warm?

Picture above is of me when I did a doll making course in Brighton in my younger days. Little girl below with the guitar is my little angel when she was just 2 years old, bless.

Thank you Auntie Nick Nack you made my Friday!

Dyslexic and proud copying school work is not a crime!

I am very proud to be dyslexic and so is my partner! Lots of creative and successful people are dyslexic! I went to a dyslexia meeting last week because I am concerned about my little girl worrying about not being able to do her school work. Although they say dyslexia can run in families you do have to have an open mind as it does skip like an illness can. I have always said to people who refer to children that are bright or clever, that these children are just lucky as they have a good memory. The dyslexia meeting confirmed that memory is one of the biggest problems with dyslexia and therefore children need a lot more support and understanding. I have finally found books that she enjoys. Thank you Men Mr books, finally she is starting to enjoy reading and is making great progress. Here is Little Snowflake showing you how to draw some Mr Men characters.

I would like the Government and Council to understand that every child is different and all children progress at different levels. The biggest problem we have is funding for our schools. Teachers and Teacher Assistants don't teach for the money that is for sure!Getting all children that struggle extra help is not going to happen. That is why the Government and Council are trying to sell off our school fields. Children need fun in life. They are all expected to grow up and are not allowed a childhood like we used to. I hope this school field and butterfly meadow gets saved. And hope children that struggle with work at school but are good at sports or art can shine.

You can not go on age ability when it comes to a child. And in my view these school inspections just put stress on teachers and schools to get all children to a high level. We don't need qualifications for every single job. That just puts people out of work, because everyone is different! I still laugh about the cleaning qualification.

Sit down and have a cup of tea, while I tell you a little story about what it was like for me as a little girl with dyslexia. Did you or your child ever struggle at school, please do leave me a comment below. The more we talk about things the better chance of getting things changed for the better! Here is my clever little girls drawing of Little Miss Tea Party. Her very own character based on her favourite Mr Men Books. We gave her teacher this tea cup as a thank you for being her teacher last term!

My Nan noticed I had learning difficulties. She could have been a teacher, just a shame she had a panic attack in the exams as she would have been amazing. Her English was perfect as she read for hours every night. At 6 years old I was getting my own breakfast and walking an hour to and from school because my poor Mum has been ill all my life. The medication prescribed to her made her so drowsy she could not function. I had very bad Asthma, and being around family cigarette smoke and animals did not help, hence off school a lot! Can you imagine laying on the sofa wheezing and fighting to breathe when everyone smoked! Back then they had no idea of the damage it was causing and now smoke outside when we visit. At school I used to copy because I did not want to be made fun of, and I did not want to be told off for not doing my work by the teacher. I have to say I am so glad I don't go to school now as I would never have coped with all the problems at home, health problems and the stress of being pushed to learn when I found it difficult.

My little girl is currently sitting on the sofa with one of her best friends reading the Mr Men books to there little toys. If your child is struggling to read and does not like reading, have a word with their teacher. A good teacher will tell you as long as they are reading it does not matter what they read!

Children see school as learning and home as a place to relax. Some children love to read because they have a good memory. Children that do not like reading are the ones that are struggling. A fun thing to do is to get one of your friends to read with you. Just reading to Mummy or Daddy can be a struggle as they want to play. Auntie Nick Nack has been amazing. The brick wall has come down and my little girl is at last enjoying to read. She loves to write so it will all come together when she is ready. I noticed that she was getting the word like mixed up with the word little and get mixed up with gel. Happens quite a lot with different words which is associated to dyslexia. Just need to keep practising.

Copying school work is not a crime, it is a cry for help! No child should be made fun of for getting something wrong. It is not all about being the best, it is about trying your best and if you cannot do it, then help is needed. I left school with no qualifications but I achieved so much when I left school. When I did a YOP Graphics Course I found it difficult, I could not type and left! I worked in a pub at the age of 18 years old and managed to learn to add up all the drinks. At 19 I was working in London and taught myself to type on a telex machine. I was told I could have been an amazing ship broker. I worked and moved around jobs. From receptionist to Managing Directors secretary was quite an achievement for someone with no qualifications! I find it really sad that I am expected to have qualifications to do secretarial work now when I have over 15 years worth of experience. Talk about putting people out of work!

My Mum said to me "Sharon you were always a good little girl, so grown up at such a young age." I was the little girl that washed up for my Mum every night for 50p a week, while my sister got paid a £1 for watching. I did not mind because it helped my Mum and I knew my real Dad's family did not treat my sister the way they spoilt me, which was unfair! I could have demanded more money or just refused to do the washing up. But I understood that my poor Mum was ill and I just wanted to give her a stress free life. My childhood was amazing because I got to be a real child and played in the big garden, park and on the beach. Pocket money is good for children only if they learn to work for it and appreciate it! When I look back on my childhood I have lots of wonderful and happy memories. My Mother's illness has made me a better Mother because I am happy to put my child first! I know I have to do something about the damp but she needs me.

Thank you Nick Nack for saying you wished I was your Mother. It means the world to know that you think I am doing a great job!
