Annie, the film about a child orphan, is just a fairy tale. So many children suffering in state care, with no voice and a Country that turns their back on them and refuses to listen to real evidence of abuse by the state. My Nan was a child orphan, which is why I care about these poor kids.
The song Melody, her Dad and I created a few years ago, was for a school project "Don't Drink and Drive." It reminds me of my Nan, and all these poor kids in state care with no voice or love.

Made to eat and sleep in a shed. Social Services ignored her cries for help.
