Melody (daughter) and I have spent a couple of days outside drawing and painting together. The weather was beautiful. And the sweet sound of the birds singing ... was pure heaven.
I am not the best artist, but drawing and painting with my daughter is something I do just for fun. She is a far better artist than myself. And I am very proud to say she is self-taught from You Tube art tutorials.
This family drawing she created, is something I will treasure!
In the UK people do not understand Home Education, or that it is even legal. If my daughter stayed in school she would be totally stressed out and unhappy. State School does not understand gifted children like Melody. And sadly, DYSLEXIC children get left behind. They need time to process information.
When Melody starts College, I will see if I can help Dyslexic children build their confidence - because they all have a special gift:
Melody created this outstanding drawing to represent her Home Education. Our LA loves it! And her Google Classroom English teacher asked her to create one for her ENGLISH LESSONS PAGE. She has given Melody a credit. I am so proud of her, and feel this is brilliant for her art portfolio.
I am looking forward to creating future songs with Melody, as she is truly a gifted child:
