My new BEE SOAP made with Resveratrol (Japanese Knotweed). Sadly, most British People are totally unaware that the Cosmetic Industry has been using this plant for anti-ageing products for over a decade.

Japanese knotweed is a well known source of resveratrol since extraction is straightforward and cheap. I believe it is now the only source of resveratrol for skincare applications.
Many large supplement sources of resveratrol use Japanese knotweed and use its scientific name in the supplement labels. Japanese knotweed is a concentrated source of emodin, used as a nutritional supplement to regulate bowel motility. The roots of Japanese knotweed are used in traditional Chinese and Japanese herbal medicines as a natural laxative. The active principle responsible for the laxative effect is emodin, present in its natural form as a complex of its analogues.

I understand why some people are frightened of Japanese Knotweed. The media and Banks do no paint a good picture; however, with the amount of Cancer and other illnesses we have these days, should we not be trying to avoid CHEMICALS? People say they have the right to use Chemicals in their garden. But what about neighbours that don't want these chemicals near their house? Where are their rights? My Local Independent Council supports my ideas on Japanese Knotweed. Sadly, the main Council is not so supportive. I hope people will do their own research, instead of listening to the one sided media.

Before my next door neighbour used a toxic chemical company to use poison next to our fence to get rid of his Japanese knotweed in his garden, I managed to cut down the rest of our Japanese Knotweed for winter. I am hoping that the chemical from his garden does not come into mine. Otherwise I will be pretty peed off, and will take action against MONSANTO! And our bad Education System!!!!

My friend, ex nurse, told me, "Sharon you need to get off your Asthma Inhalers because Chemical Medicines are bad for your health?"
I have a friend in Canada, who now is making Japanese Knotweed soap. She told me that where she lives they don't use toxic poisons in public areas like parks etc. So what the hell is wrong with the UK?
My Canadian friend also told me that she does not have to pay £150 per soap/face cream testing. In her own words, "She would make no money!" Here in the UK, they make it as difficult as possible for the Working Class to earn from home! No support for mothers/fathers to earn from home in the UK!
