Children's cough cure

Yesterday I did not blog. My poor wee daughter, Melody, was up all night wheezing and coughing. I looked into a home remedy for coughing and found the following:

I ended up just using honey and lemon as I did for the sore throat and it worked fine. I wonder has anyone tried any home remedies for asthma. I am going to give them a try and will blog about it soon.
