DAILY MAIL: Plant-eating insect could finally kill off Japanese knotweed
It's cost to the British economy is an estimated £165million a year, so a method of controlling the weed is urgently needed.
THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A MINUTE. WHY IS TAX PAYERS MONEY BEING WASTED, WHEN THIS IS A VALUABLE PLANT? NOT VERY EDUCATED IF YOU ASK ME! But then we have a Government that is not interested in improving our economy, so what should we expect.

JAPANESE KNOTWEED ... OSTEOPOROSIS TEST ON RATS
- Drugs used for osteoporosisDrugs used for osteoporosis: In an ovariectomized rat model of bone loss, rats fed oral resveratrol (0.7mg/kg of body weight) from Polygonum cuspidatum had significantly higher bone mineral density and bone calcium content than ovariectomized rats, similar to alendronate sodium treatment (24). Theoretically, concurrent use of Japanese knotweed with drugs used for osteoporosis may have additive effects.

And sadly, the SOLCREDULITS believe them!
CHECK OUT ALL THE THINGS YOU CAN MAKE WITH
JAPANESE KNOTWEED!
THE THREAT ON JAPANESE KNOTWEED IS A BIT LIKE OUR GOVERNMENTS HOLDING BACK THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MEDICAL HEALTH VALUE OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES!
There is no PROFIT in fruit and veg, but plenty of profit in FAKE MEDICINES!
IMAGINE PEOPLE BELIEVING FAKE FORMULA MILKS ARE GOOD FOR BABIES!
Do your family and friends a favour, and research ...
Dr Michael Greger!
You could save someone's life!
IF DR. GREGER IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR GOOGLE, HE IS GOOD ENOUGH
FOR YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
Dr Greger's Grandmother was sent home to die. She went on to live for another 31 years, thanks
to a PLANT BASED DIET! So question if your doctor cares about you, or the amount of money
they are earning from you being ill. But when it comes to breaking a leg etc, we need doctors.
I cannot thank Dr Michael Greger, You Tube, and Google enough.
Thanks to Dr Greger, I am now Asthma free. The plant based diet works!
ILLNESS IN MY FAMILY!
My whole family have health problems. So far, I have not had to have a hip operation because of my diet. My Mum, Dad, and two Aunts had to have hip replacements in their early 40's. Auntie Jan had three. My Mum needs another hip replacement. And my Dad is having an operation on his knee, as well as having problems with his hip. And my poor Nan is crippled with OSTEOPOROSIS. I used to get pains in my legs etc. I even nearly fell over, because my legs gave way a few times, this was before the plant based diet. The fact is, I eat too much sugar and fat. And this caused health problems. Especially, as I was not educated on how Fruit and Veg cure illness. But thanks to Dr Michael Greger, we now all have a good chance to cure every illness known to man. All based on Scientific NUTRITIONAL evidence!
New Scientist magazine reader bucks the trend
According to New Scientist reader Ruth Burroughs, the dreaded weed isn’t all bad. Here’s what she said in the magazine’s 5th July 2014 edition:
“I was concerned to read the diatribe against Japanese knotweed. While not wishing to defend some of knotweed’s thuggish habits, your article was in my view both biased and unscientific. To describe it as having the “biodiversity value of concrete” is absurd. It is in fact a valuable nectar source for many insects, including honey bees. Its phytochemistry is complex and fascinating and beyond the scope of this letter, but suffice it to say it has broad antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral activity as well as being a rich source of resveratrol, a compound claimed to have many health benefits. The plant has a long history of use in Japan as a medicine and a food source.”
