Win a Pet Portrait Commission of your Pet. Any pet. The winner will win a Watercolour painting of their pet by Melody Angel Art. Nineteen year old Art and Music student. The Raffle will be drawn on the 1st December 2022. Raffle tickets £2 each. If the money is raised before December, then please allow Melody two weeks to produce the winning pet portrait. Even if you do not buy a ticket, we would so appreciate it if people would share this post. Thank you!
The winner needs to email our daughter with a photo of their pet. Please allow at least two weeks for her to complete the painting as she is very busy with studies as well.
This Raffle is to fund our daughters ART & MUSIC EDUCATION. We have the best teachers possible, and they are worth every penny. When you have tutors that really believe in your child, they shine beyond belief. She also needs driving lessons and a small cheap car to get to her Music lessons, which are too difficult to get to by public transport.
I DON'T WANT OUR DAUGHTER TO END UP WITH A DEAD END JOB BECAUSE ELITE ACADEMICS MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT TO SUCCEED IN LIFE. I WANT HER TO BE ABLE TO TEACH MUSIC AND ART IF SHE NEEDS TO! IF SHE WORKED, SHE COULD NOT STUDY AS HARD AS SHE DOES TODAY. DYSLEXICS NEED MORE TIME TO STUDY. PERIOD!

WE ARE VERY LUCKY, WE HAVE THE BEST TEACHERS AND WE DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THEM! THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!!
I believe in supporting Independent Tutors who make a difference in our children's lives, and excellent teachers within the Schooling system. When they are good, and not bad teachers, I feel their services are worth every PENNY!
I also believe in EXCELLENT FREE EDUCATION for children/adults that deserve it. Especially the working class. If this Raffle works, I hope I can help others with their dreams. Nothing is impossible. The only thing standing in our way, is the Elite British Brick Wall. But we can knock that down verbally together. Our Welsh Actor Michael Sheen is moving back to Wales because he knows that working class children are not getting the support they deserve:

Creative Audio Visual Minded people (Dyslexics etc) need to be involved in Education where some Academics may be failing. Especially in the ARTS and with regards to making reading fun, not stressful.

In my day (1982), I got paid to go to ART College. Yes, the kind Tax Payer funded us to do a Graphic Design Course. We got paid £25 a week with a YOP scheme. My friend actually got a job in Graphic Design thanks to this free College Education. Big thanks to the Tax Payer!
WELSH ACTOR STATES HOW THE WORKING CLASS NO LONGER GET SUPPORT IN THE ARTS
Welsh Actor, Michael Sheen, even states how he got into acting from his Working Class background because there was support with the ARTS when he was young. Not like today! You have to be rich to study in our world today, especially when it comes to ART and MUSIC. It is sad that Tax Payers money is not supporting the little people.

HAVING TO FIGHT TO SAVE OUR SCHOOL FIELD AND BUTTERFLY MEADOW
Parents/grandparents etc all worked so hard to help save our school field and Butterfly Meadow by getting people to sign a petition.

THIS IS WHY A EDUCATION RAFFLE IS SO VERY IMPORTANT
Some people will not understand this, but I do not want my daughter to get a part-time job, or any job. I want her to concentrate purely on her ART and MUSIC Education. She goes above and beyond with her studies. A very focused student. And I do not have to nag her. Melody is self-motivated.
Our daughter (Melody) has just passed her Music Theory Exam with a Distinction. Considering she could hardly read, write or spell in school, I feel she deserves support. We have saved the TAX PAYER THOUSANDS BY HOME EDUCATING. Yet we have to put up with bullying remarks about how Home Education is so bad.
Melody's Cello teacher studied with famous Cellist Jacqueline Mary du Pré. Melody's Cello Teacher and Jacqueline du Pre had the same Music tutor. Even her Cello teacher remarked on how quickly Melody studied and passed the Music Theory Exam. Very impressed. She does not take on any beginner students, but sees something in Melody and her creative ear to be able to visualise music with colours. I am telling people this, not to brag, but because some people expect Melody to give up who she is and don't see that Cello, Classical Guitar, Singer and ART is MELODY, and she should not be forced to change. They also do not see how important it is for me, as her mother, to be with her on her journey, supporting her and knocking down all the brick walls that stand in her way. I am not only her mother, but her BEST FRIEND!

PERFECTION IS OVER RATED IN MY VIEW
BUT I RESPECT OTHERS THAT STRIVE TO BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE
Melody is such a perfectionist, that she will not allow me to share videos of her playing the Cello or Classical Guitar. She really wishes to work hard at her craft and perfect it. She does not want to just learn to play, she hopes to really understand her instruments and how they work to produce the best sound.
Trying to find the right Raffle Service is a real challenge. I want to raise enough money to pay for all her private classes, and help her get to her lessons with driving lessons and a cheap car.
We are a very proud Creative Audio Visual Thinking family this Country labels Disabled ... DYSLEXIC! Everyone is more than a Disabled TITLE! We all have value and should be allowed to shine brightly without Elite Academic Brick Walls getting in the way.

There is a very talented singer/musician in the USA called Melody Angel, so we thought we had best change Melody's name from Melody Angel to Melody Angelicus for music. Melody's Vocal Coach kindly came up with her new stage name. We do not want to mess up her search engine views. I know what it is like to have people pay to overtake you in the search engines (Swing out Sister - Butterfly Lullaby), and I refuse to do this to someone else. Both ladies were born with the names Melody Angel. I hope Melody gets to sing with the very gifted Melody Angel singer/musician in the USA that bears the same name as her. I feel we need to understand that we are all the same, fighting the same verbal battles for Human Rights.
AMERICAN FILM DIRECTOR TOM SEIDMAN - FAMILY
American Film Director, Tom Seidman and his wife are like family. They have always supported Melody in music and art. Melody was going to be performing at Cinema & Co in Swansea and Tom's Christmas Bunny Film was going to be shown there. But sadly the UK does not support small business. I feel sorry for the single Mum who's business it is. Mothers are not helped or supported in the UK. We are not valued by the people that run this Country. Having cured my lung health with organic plants, I would have loved to have helped Anna provide her customers with HEALTHY SNACK so she could have stayed open.

When Melody hated reading, writing and spelling in school, I got her to sing the stories from the Library. I hope to one day be part of a team to help make reading fun for children and not stressful! No child should suffer in school. Period! Read more:

I love my daughter, and will go above and beyond for her to help her reach her true potential. Home Education has made her into the clever creative person she is today. We have no regrets!
Someone told me, "SHARON, MELODY WILL NOT THANK YOU FOR HOME EDUCATING HER!" Mothers ganged up on me because I am Dyslexic. They refused to see what I have achieved in life and judged me for some Disabled ... Dyslexic LABEL, which some Academic Elites profit from. Well this video proves otherwise! And because of Home Education, I found out how to make reading fun for Dyslexic children, and not stressful! Win, win! I will knock those Academic brick walls down. :)

STORYTELLING IS AN ART
Our Melody adores this American tutor Marshall Vandruff.
She really wanted him as an ART Mentor. But he is a very, very busy man. Just recently Melody did a four lesson Storytelling Course with him. She took down so many notes. And loved it. I cannot wait to see his expert knowledge being put into practice with her Cello Story she is writing. Watch this space!
